While most people think of spring and summer weddings, there's something special about getting married in winter. The gardens are lush, the light is soft for those special photos, and cosy celebrations are to be savoured.
Hyde Park in winter (pictured) is hard to beat although I'm always discovering beautiful ceremony locations around Perth.

A sofreh is a Persian custom of a beautifully arranged table featuring delicacies and decorative items - it was part of a small wedding I was involved in recently; along with 'Las arras', a symbolic exchange of coins, in the ceremony of a Colombian couple a short time ago. I thought they were lovely, meaningful ways to honour culture, family and tradition.
