Wow! This year Mother's Day Classic raised 3.45 Million!
2026 was my second year managing the event in Perth for Spark.

What an awesome achievement 🙌 We are kicking Cancer's Butt! 💕

Big news, and it’s all thanks to you…

Tonight at our annual Celebration Function, hosted by our incredible partner The Langham, Melbourne, we were extremely proud to announce the Mother’s Day Classic community has raised an incredible $3.45 million for breast and ovarian cancer research in 2026!

Based on our participants’ selections, we're proud to be giving:
🩷 $2.138 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation
🩵 $1.312 million to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF)

That brings our total since 1998 to over $54 million, powering over 90 research projects and counting.

29 years of walking, running, and showing up for each other, and we're only getting started. Thank you for being part of it.

Blood, Sweat, tears and many high five's!

Last night Esperance Distillery Co took out Gold for our Whisky. I am so so so damn proud of James.

A tiny, tiny company. In one of the most remote places of the world. He works 247 to bring his vision to life. He is one of the best humans let alone boss and friend.

Next time you buy a bottle, and from now on! 🙏 Please only buy WA spirits. No more mass, international brands.

Spinifex Spree 2026 🌟

Another amazing event! 👏

I always love returning to the Pilbara. I lived there from the age of 16, and I still have that red dust in my veins. ❤️

A huge thank you to the incredible team at the Town of Port Hedland. You have one of the most supportive, talented and passionate events teams I've ever had the privilege of working alongside. It's always a pleasure.

To my crew—what a year! Thank you for your hard work, professionalism and positive attitude. We had a smooth, safe and enjoyable bump-in, and I couldn't be prouder of what we achieved together. 🫶 Nick, Ruby, Lima and Casey 🫶

To all of our wonderful stallholders, thank you for bringing such fantastic energy to the event. Despite a few vendors having to withdraw at the last minute, everyone pulled together, adapted, and helped create an incredible atmosphere for the community.

Events like these are never the work of one person—they take a village. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making Spinifex Spree 2026 another event to remember. Until next time, Pilbara! ❤️🌵
