Get Hitched by Angelyn I am a commonwealth registered marriage celebrant. And of all the roles I have, this one is my absolute favourite. I will be with you every step of the way.

It is a privilege to be part of this very important milestone, so I take it seriously. I'm a newly registered marriage celebrant. Nonetheless, I am passionate about telling your love story and make your wedding ceremony warm, meaningful and a moment you'll never forget. I only do one wedding a day even on weekends, and keep it to two weddings per week. I find that it’s the perfect balance so I can

Every wedding, big or small, is a celebration of life, a nod to the past, a gratitude for the present, and the start of something new. I feel truly honoured to be trusted with such a meaningful milestone. From our first meeting to the last, I always remind my couples: this ceremony is yours. Do it your way.

C & C took that to heart and absolutely nailed it! They said “I do” with a jelly ring, saving the big bling for their overseas wedding. At sunrise on the last day of autumn, with just five of their favourite humans, they sealed it all with a coffee toast instead of bubbles. Whew! More of this, please!

I’ve never felt so appreciated in my entire working life until I became a marriage celebrant. I grew up with the mindset that I should always give my best—often going above and beyond what’s expected. So when couples, their families or even guests go out of their way to thank me or say lovely things, it honestly catches me off guard. It feels a bit strange… but also completely wonderful.

The thing is, I don’t do what I do to be praised—I do it because I genuinely care. But I have to admit, it’s pretty special to feel so valued for it.

I limit myself to one wedding per day, even on weekends and cap it at two weddings per week up to five weddings a month. This gives me the perfect balance to be there for all my clients, answer their questions (or just a random chitchat that is totally not related to weddings🤣) and really support them throughout their wedding planning journey. And sometimes, if I’m lucky, I even get to keep them as friends after the big day! 😍
