MY GOD DID EB DELIVER

'Aunty Eb' - An incredible human, friend, confidant and professional.

Eb is not your typical celebrant. Her warm, calm and nurturing personality made us feel like she was a part of our family from the very beginning of the relationship.

We knew we wanted a unique and fun wedding ceremony, you know, full of those deep belly laughs while pulling at everyone's heart strings? My god did Eb deliver - we got all of this and much, much more.

Ebony created a ceremony for us that perfectly depicted our life journey as a couple in a way that captured the essence of who we were as individuals and the power couple that we then became together. A story that was so well curated it had our guests in stitches, tears and awe all at the same time.

As Eb says, she isn't "just a celebrant" - she is anything you need her to be for you. At any time. On any day. She is there.

With her contagious smile, heart full of love, and calming words of wisdom, we couldn't have possibly received a better service from anyone else than we did from this all-round superwoman.

She will forever be the Nutella to our sandwich. The best freakin' celebrant there is in Perth.

AND JUST LIKE THAT

Pinch me! I have made it halfway through my first wedding szn for 2022/2023. Someone crack open the Tia Maria and get us a packet of bbq shapes stat.

I have absolutely loved every single celebration that I’ve had the privilege of playing a role in so far. But what I have loved most is meeting the incredible humans I’ve crossed paths with, hearing their story and having built a genuine connection.

I am so grateful for each and every single one of you, for the journey we’ve shared and for trusting me to tell your story authentically.

But the time has come to recharge and take a couple weeks break from tomorrow, 10/12/2022 - 05/01/2022.

Now, I’m lil unconventional at the best of times so, while I am on holiyays, living my best life, kicking it with my faves, eating, drinking, sassing, twerking and getting more lit than a Christmas tree, I will be working ON the business too.

So, for next week ONLY, I will be getting in contact with all my JAN, FEB & MAR couples for what’s necessary.

After that, I’m scheduling the good ole ‘out of office’ auto responder on cause aunty’s pretty cooked and deserves a break.

So, before I dissappear off into the black abyss, this is your opportunity to get in touch, or update me on anything important before then or forever hold ya peace (til the 05/01/2022).

FROM THIS MOMENT, LIFE HAS BEGUN

I think it amazing how one day someone walks into your life, and suddenly, you can't imagine how you lived without them.

Love is beautiful and spectacular. But being understood is even more so, because it is rarer than love. Being understood is being free to be you always, and that is the epitome of Taryn and Daniel.

Having spent 10 incredibly special years together, they’re now jetting off to write their best chapter yet. And I could not be more in awe of the two of them, than I already am.

Beyond grateful to have crossed paths with them & I cannot wait to share more fantastic highlights from their day, stay tuned 🙈💘

FOR THE FIRST TIME

Yesterday marked 365 days since I met my first couple. I had only just launched HOUSE OF EBONY | PERTH CELEBRANT & MC when I crossed paths with these two wholesome souls, Taryn and Daniel, thanks to the interwebs and the hashtag

I remember their enquiry quite vividly. Having been together for 10 years, they both wanted a ceremony that was super casual, relaxed & to make things official.

At the time, these two weren’t even remotely close to perth city but made the effort to drive down and catch up for a meet + greet over hot chippies, pale ale and rosé. It’s crazy to think this was also a time where business owners alike would have to navigate if you and your couple could actually meet in person and be seated in a venue dependent on your vaccination status; wild right?!

Anywho, you’d swear blind that we we’re friends from way back; the conversation was so effortless.

And to this day, I will never forget Taryn asking me 1 question in particular, “So, have you married many couples?, to which I anxiously but transparently responded with, “I have only just soft launched EBONY | PERTH CELEBRANT & MC the week before last and I’m still yet to marry a couple, but who’s for me, will find me, and I can’t wait for the day I help them say I do. Does that bother you”?

Taryn: “No, not at all. It’s actually refreshing to not feel like another number, or another wedding and that not only do we, but you to, will experience this journey with us, together, for the first time. And that feels incredibly special’.

And the rest as they say is history. 323 days later, I did indeed marry this incredible couple, witnessing them say I do. What a journey it has been. And all because they took a chance on lil ole me.

So, here’s to my Day 1’s. And while it will never be about the numbers to me, let this number 1 you see, serve as a gentle reminder that we all start somewhere and that customer service and authenticity are my number 1 focus EBONY | PERTH CELEBRANT & MC

MR + MRS WILLIAMSON

Legally boo’d up and freaking loving life. I got to marry these two beautiful souls on the weekend and witness them seal the deal! They wanted Vegas, so we served up Vegas, baby!

With a dream team of bangin’ vendors in tow, full creative control and unwavering trust in me, the ultimate SURPRISE lovefest with their nearest and dearest was curated, and phwoah…did it pack a punch!

34 days in the making. Spontaneity at its finest. I guess when you know, you know. Incorporating all the tiny details, I took them both on a trip down memory lane followed by a champagne toast and some cake. With so many happy tears shed and lots of belly laughter, you truly could feel the love amongst all the glitter and retro neon that is
It was the epitome of THEM!

The night didn’t stop there though..From pres (a killer ceremony delivered from yours truly, duh) to kick ons, they then hightailed it to the casino where they indulged in a private dinner with friends and fam at Rockpool Bar + Grill. It’s safe to say these two were ‘drunk in love’ for all the right reasons with bottles popping all night long!

Sarah + Mat, you two define easy, breezy, covergal! I’m am obsessed with you and for what’s to come in the future! I wish you both nothing but crazy good love, laughter and snacks with many more epic adventures to come. Here’s to the most incredible honeymoon, uh huh honey🥂🐝
