Farewell 💕
This post has been a long time coming and honestly I am still struggling to put into words the whirlwind that the past 6 years have been, so buckle in because I have a lot to say! This week we hosted the last ever wedding at The Ridge Estate. After 6 beautiful years of hosting so many couples special days, it’s time to hang up my boots and live life at a slower pace with my husband and two boys.
To my husband, hooley dooley what a lucky lady I am to have that man by my side. No one has had such blind faith in my crazy ideas as you have. You have supported me through one of the most tough and rewarding undertakings of our lives so far. You have boosted me up at my lowest, pushed me when I have needed it and laughed with me when there was nothing left to do but laugh. This venue could have never reached the heights we have without you.
To my team, wow what haven’t we experienced together over the past years. With so many laughs, too many tears, babies, lockdowns, rain, mud, rowdy crowds, nudity and just general drunkness that comes with weddings. Thank you for treating this venue as if it was your own and putting up my endless micro managing and long conversations. Honourable mentions to Lara, Alex, Cam, Louise and Rob. Pt.2 in comments..
