"As long as your dress isn't blue or something!" My fiance laughed.

👀😬🙃😂

When we were engaged, I used to play "which dress do you think I'd pick from this collection" with Josh. One day, after some blue dresses were in the mix, he made the above comment. I had only recently paid my deposit on my dress.

His comment made me laugh and while part of me thought "oh s**t whoops", I also knew that when he saw my dress, that he would understand that this dress was meant to be for me.

So, when we did our first look, we had a laugh about my dress being blue. He didn't even remember making the comment about blue dresses and it was apparently a throw away joke that kept me on my toes for months 😂

"I just needed to be with other women"

These circles are a gift to the women who need more feminine energy in their life. To those who want to feel held and heard. To those who need time to dedicate to themselves and their personal growth.

In the June Bloom circle, we explored the theme of rest. How essential it is to our being, the different types of rest, ways to incorporate more (or higher quality) rest into our days, and possible conditioning around rest.

I guided the women through a self-massage to create a deep sense of relaxation to allow their bodies to physically rest.

To close the circle, the women wrapped themselves up in cozy blankets, got comfy laying on the floor and closed their eyes. They let the floor hold them as they focused on their breath and the gentle music playing that told them they were safe to rest.

Affirmations:

✨️ I am worthy of rest.

✨️ I need rest.

✨️ My worth is not dependant on my productivity.

🩷 The first line is a quote from one of the women who attended my June Bloom circle. We need other women. We thrive when we are together. 🩷

A Women's Circle is a space for you to explore your inner world, to work through your thoughts and feelings, and to make plans to work towards being the best version of yourself.

It can be a space for you to sit back, soak up wisdom and love and calm. It can be a space for you to release all that has built up inside you. It can be a space to cry, laugh, breathe, talk, rest. It can be whatever you need it to be.

Our next circle in The Bloom Series is on Saturday July 20th. I would love to hold space for you.

This girly is now officially a celebrant! 🥂

(But not a marriage celebrant, yet).

I finished my Cert IV in Celebrancy on Thursday and now have to wait for some paperwork and registration to come through which will be a few months away, but in the meantime...
