So, you’re wondering what in the world an escape room actually is and what’s the big deal about them?
AN ESCAPE ROOM IS A 60-MINUTE REAL-LIFE ADVENTURE GAME.
You and your team will enter a themed room and become part of the narrative. You will have one hour to complete your mission and “escape” the room. A successful escape will require you to find hidden clues and solve challenging puzzles throughout the room
Beating an escape room requires teamwork, speed, creativity, and patience. Escape rooms are perfect for family vacations, corporate team-building, or just having fun with your friends. Escape rooms are amazing experiences to share with people, as you work together to discover clues to beat the escape room.
At Drop Bear Escape Rooms, you can choose between 2 different games (missions)… Mission Failed or The Lolly Shop. Both our games are connected with a common story however its ok to play them in any order.
You are the newest recruits to the W.I.S.E agency and the games are the story of your missions trying to protect the world from the Drop Bear Agents.
Mission 1... Crisis at Customs. (indoor)
"Congratulations on passing your training. Your first mission, should you choose to accept it, is to collect Pop's secret ingredient from Bali and bring it back to us. You have five days to complete this task.You must return to Australia without letting anyone know what you are doing. Talk to no-one unless absolutely necessary.
This is no holiday! Good luck and don't get caught!" ...end message
Your first mission went like a dream, you got the secret ingredient and arrived back to Australia early, hoping that would make the agency proud of you. That was until you were caught. Suspected of importing drugs. Now, you're trapped in customs with the secret ingredients locked up. The 'Drop Bears will be here in an hour, so you need to get that secret ingredient and get out before then, return to HQ and report in. You are going to need more than 'good luck'.
Mission 2... The Lolly Shop (indoor)
Pops is the chief of the agency you work for, has been missing for about a year now. The authorities have given up and enacted on his will. Wow Pops left you his life long work. his “baby”, his lolly shop. What an honor but seriously, no one at the Agency even knew that Pops had a lolly shop, let alone where he is or why he left it to you.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go to the shop (after all technically your the new owner now anyhow) and find any evidence of what Pops was doing there and hopefully find out what has happened to him. hurry our intelligence gurus have picked up chatter on the air waves and it appears that the Drop-bears have found out about the Lolly shop. apparently they are on their way now. We estimate that you have 1 hour to find out everything you can before they get there.
Unfortunately as the shop has been closed for a year now, people have broken in and stolen all the stock and its a bit of a mess. As you start to look around the shop you cant help to think that pops must have left a clue here. Where is he? did the Dreaded Drop Bears finally get him? What secrets does this old shop hold? Better hurry up though as in 1 hour the drop bears will catch you too.
Mission 3 The end game... Welcome to the Jungle - opening later (indoor)
After entering the ruins in the rainforest you are mysteriously transported into another dimension. A game must be played. A game must be won. Can you solve the riddles, find the clues and finish the game before you are trapped here forever?
