Good morning everyone,
Love seeing the sun back 🌞
I will be running one more class this Saturday then taking a little break to see my family in July and then back Aug with my classes and my chocolate and baking days .

This Saturday 21st June,
Held in Lawrence at the Wild Walnut
HIGH TEA/TINY TREATS CLASS
1.5 hours
1pm -2.30pm
$75 pp
Learn to make 5 beautiful little treats, make simple chocolate decorations, taste and enjoy lovely sweets and take home a box of 10 delicious mini desserts, plus recipe cards and as always we have lots of fun😁

We have a half filled class already but still space for 6 more people. If you would like to join us, you can send me a message or call me on 0221980392.
This class always a lot of fun as it’s fully hands on and you make each of your desserts.
I provide everything, the Wild Walnut coffee machine will be on and it’s lovely and cozy way to spend an afternoon learning new recipes.

I hope you are enjoying your new recipes and your cheese (here is some Lebna below to share what we learnt to make and taste).
Loved seeing some familiar faces and meeting new people💕
So far my cheese classes have been a big hit and I will run some more again in August😊

Hello everyone, THANK YOU😁 To last week’s fabulous group, was such a fun afternoon and thank you all for your lovely comments about how much your enjoyed it.
Because last week was fully booked out I have made another class and I still have 4 places left in this Saturdays JUNE 14th, 1pm -2.30pm class, if you are keen to join my second class here in Lawrence feel free to message me.

This class is a fun way to share some of the catering and creative ways I have learnt to use cheese over the last 3 decades,
It will be $75 for 1.5 hours, we will make 2 soft cheese, taste at least 4 cheeses plus cover creative ways to use cheese and make easy sides. You will all get to roll your own cheese balls and of course taste everything as we go and take home recipe cards and a $35 cheese box.
I have space for a few more cheese lovers this Saturday, message to join us for a very cheese filled afternoon.
Its cold outside and a perfect time to get be inside eating yummy food.

Thank you so much to today’s fun and fabulous group that drove through snow and came from far and wide (and close) for my latest cheese class.
Seeing so many of you back from other classes makes my heart so happy and thanks to the ladies from those, for encouraging me to create this class.
As always I LOVE meeting new faces and seeing old customers and spending an afternoon making delicious food together🥰

BIG thanks to the Wild Walnut for working with me and for making your cafe so warm and inviting.

I have been working on this new class for a while for some of my lovely customers and have finally finished recipe testing (a very tasty job) and this new class will be lots of fun.

I have been in the food industry for 30 years and before being a chocolate maker I was a soft cheese maker and had a wedding catering business, in fact it was many thousands of jars of my Lebna cheese that helped get us to NZ a decade ago.

A very big thanks to Sundays delightful group for my Chocolate master class.
It was a full class and I loved seeing some of you back from previous lessons to learn more about Chocolate, along with some wonderful new faces.
It was a great afternoon and you all have some serious chocolate making talent!
Every one of your chocolate creations was totally unique and looked fabulous 😁
Thank you all for making the trip to Lawrence and for helping the world have more chocolate makers!

Hello everyone,
I am running my Chocolate Master class next Sunday 25th May, 1pm -3pm at Waitahuna.
It is almost fully booked but I do have space for a few more if anyone is keen to join us? for a wonderful afternoon of learning the craft of chocolate making.
It’s a 2 hour class and I teach how to temper chocolate, plus use and make chocolate 4 different way, including truffle rolling and of course we taste and make LOTS of delicious Belgian chocolate and each person takes home a $45 chocolate box.

We are into May already which means it’s time to spoil our Mums (or ourselves or those we love💕).
This month’s baking day will be a
MOTHER’S DAY TART RUN on SAT 10th May (so your tarts are all ready for a lazy sweet Sunday morning tea or picnic for Mum).

Large box of 12 mixed tarts $50
Small box of 6 mixed tarts $25
Delivery $4

Each gift box of delicious tarts will come with a ribbonand bow, Mothers Day card and a cute little bonus sweet pea seeding wrapped and ready to water and plant in spring🌷.

Made fresh Saturday morning delivering Sat 10th afternoon to LAWRENCE/MILTON/CLUTHA/CLYDEVALE (you can also collect from Matau garden centre in Clutha and get your flower at the same time).

Flavours this time are:
-Salted caramel and chocolate

-Lemon and passion fruit cheesecake

At the Lawrence Mint, owner operator Alisa Dacy creates everything using the finest Belgian ‘Callebaut’ chocolate that is specially delivered each week.

Her Chocolate range includes hand rolled truffles and chocolates, rocky road, chocolate bark, freckles, mint patties, butterscotch brittle, coconut rough, hot chocolate packs and lots more. She is always creating new sweets and has a love for bringing back the old forgotten confectionery from everyone’s childhood memories.

The handmade dessert range includes The Lawrence Mints famous Belgian chocolate cheesecakes, small tarts, Belgian chocolate mud cakes, triple choc brownies, larger tarts and Belgian chocolate mousse cups. The seasonal flavors are constantly changing and sourced from the fruit from the local Teviot Valley.
