Hendo — Nature Art Workshop Facilitator
RETURN 2 RESONANCE GATHERING

Residing in Crescent Head, Hendo has spent the past 25 years working across a diverse range of creative professional mediums and within the communities of the Mid North Coast.

For Return 2 Resonance, Hendo brings creativity back to its roots through an immersive nature art workshop exploring our relationship with the land, the elements and the materials found around us.

Working with materials sourced directly from Mother Earth, participants will explore the process of sourcing and transforming natural materials into creative mediums, including ochre, lichen, organic pigments and dyes, charcoal, natural gums and resins, and other elements found within the landscape.

Through earth, water, fire, air and nature, Hendo invites us to slow down, get our hands dirty, experiment, observe, and reconnect with the environment through the act of making.

It’s not simply about creating an artwork. It’s about remembering that creativity already exists everywhere around us, in colour, texture, soil, bark, stone, plant matter and place.

At Return 2 Resonance, Hendo’s workshop becomes an invitation to return to something elemental: creating with the land rather than simply upon it.

CALLING THE WEIRD ONES, THE WILD ONES & THE WONDERFULLY UNCLASSIFIABLE 🌀

RETURN 2 RESONANCE GATHERING is looking for more facilitators, workshop holders, makers, movers and curious humans to help fill the weekend with things you can do, feel, make, learn, laugh at and possibly struggle to explain afterwards.

We’d especially love to hear from people offering:

🌀 Movement — dance, embodiment, somatics, play, flow, stretching, strange physical experiments
🔮 Spiritual / ritual — meditation, ceremony, connection, tarot, astrology, contemplation, intentional weirdness
🔊 Sound — sound journeys, voice, drumming, singing, listening practices, experimental sound
🎨 Art — collaborative art, drawing, painting, installation, live creation, messy things
🎭 Improv & performance — theatre games, character work, clowning, storytelling, spontaneous nonsense
🧵 Craft & making — weaving, adornment, costume, sculpture, natural crafts, tiny things, giant things
🫧 Quirky workshops — strange skills, ridiculous games, unusual knowledge, playful experiments and things we haven't thought of yet

Basically...

If your workshop makes people move, connect, create, play, get curious, laugh, make something strange or experience the world a little differently, we want to hear about it.

You do not need to fit neatly into a wellness-festival box.

In fact, we'd quite like it if you didn't.

My heart is so full after FULL MOON RESONANCE RETREAT 🌕✨

This retreat was everything I hoped it would be and more. I am overflowing with appreciation for every single person who gave their time, energy, creativity, love, labour, presence, sound, softness, strength and magic to help bring it to life.

To everyone who facilitated, held space, danced, helped set up, packed down, shared food, shared smiles, tended the fire, moved with the music, rested under the moon, connected with others, or simply showed up exactly as you were, thank you.

It felt so special to witness the community that gathered around this little moonlit dream. The energy, the care, the bass, the rituals, the conversations, the laughter, the stillness, the wildness, the tenderness. All of it meant so much.

Thank you again, from the deepest part of my heart. Full Moon Resonance was created by many hands, many hearts, and one very luminous moon. 🌕💗

On a other note... someone is missing a rose quartz necklace from the bass altar. If it was accidentally picked up or packed away with your things, please reach out. I’d love to return it to its owner. 🙏
