My office, my sanctuary, a space where I find solace in the beauty of the natural world and the charm of the past. In the soft glow of twilight, my curiosities corner whispers secrets of times gone by, a world of wonder, where nature's beauty meets the beauty of human touch. Treasures abound, courtesy of my tiny collectors: sea-tumbled glass, perfectly rounded stones, shells and autumn leaves, each one a reminder of our adventures together. Eclectic finds sit atop an antique box, a delicate painted egg perched on a vintage glass bottle overlooking a giant magnifying glass framing tiny specimens. An ostrich egg sits regally on a metal stand, and a bird's nest holds court alongside it. A hand painted bust steals the show, I'm awestruck by this stranger's face illuminated by the soft glow of the lamp light, what stories did his life behold? Each piece, a reminder of a memory or a moment in time, a testament to the stories we collect.
