English born Kara and her down to earth Aussie beau Bevan decided to embrace the rain and enjoyed every moment of their wedding day. Plan B was an exceptionally good option at the Noosa Boathouse where the 2nd floor River Room was beautifully decorated by First Class Functions. A lunch time reception took place after the ceremony.Family and friends from overseas, interstate and local regions were thrilled to see the pair exchange vows. Kara's dad Jim came out from the U.K to see his daughter get married and by the look on his face I think it was worth every single mile travelled. Craig Slaney Photography took these two photos and cleverly documented their day with the lovely Paula ably assisting. Fabulous morning. Thank you for the invite. :)

The bride looked as though she had just walked out of a Vogue catalogue as she floated down Maison la Plage's grassy aisle with her father Ralph on her arm. Elegant, chic and very beautful. Gorgeous flowergirls and sisters Gracie and Hayley made everyone smile with their handmade signs of Uncle Wit and Here comes the Bride and page boy Sam proudly displayed the rings on a ring cushion. Emma's grandad from the U.K made a special trip to see his granddaughter marry and made an off the cuff speech which was very funny. He endeared himself to everyone. 130 guests watched Sydneysiders Emma and Andrew exchange their heartfelt vows under a bright blue sky on a warm, Summer's day. A most memorable afternoon at Noosa. Calli B Photography documented the day. Noosa Ferry took guests to Ricky's River Bar and Restaurant for their magical reception.

Ashlee & Paul staged their nuptials at the breathtaking Yandina Station at Yandina Creek. Florist Heavenly Blooms created a vibrant and spectacular display of flowers indoors and in the bridal party's bouquets. Photographer friend Dean captured the day and extraordinary caterers The Rolling Dolmade prepared the feast. Staff at Yandina Station ensured that their venue was looking it's handsome best. Gorgeous afternoon with a family I have gotten to know well. It is such a blessing when you are able to celebrate a number of special celebrations and important occasions with a family. Thank you for doing me the honour. Stephanie

Stephanie & Bryn met one evening when the plucky Bryn ordered 6 chicken nuggets and cashier Steph's phone number. Disappointingly though he lost her number but realised how significant it was and returned to get it again. Steph played hard to get after his second visit but relented eventually not being able to resist Bryn's charms. They began dating and soon became inseparable. You can see the genuine and strong bond between them and as Steph's mum said at the wedding 'They will definitely go the distance.' Indeed Nicole. Congratulations to you both. It was a pleasure to meet you and marry you today. :) The team at Novotel Twin Waters ResortTwin Waters and wedding services professionals Christina Robyn Photography and Last Minute Videographers were on hand to document this momentous day.

MELANIE & BROCK wed on the stunning grounds at Spicers Clovelly Estate at Montville on Saturday afternoon with an enthusiastic group of family and friends who helped make their wedding day one to remember. There's is a grand love story with one of the most elaborate proposal stories concocted by Groom Brock I have ever heard. Melanie and Brock created a great atmosphere with lots of love, laughter and humour. A beautiful afternoon and evening. Natalie from MILK Photography was on hand to capture every intimate and beautiful moment. Sincere thanks to the professional trio from Strings at Hand whose classical music was the perfect accompaniment to the nuptials. Blooms of Noosa provided stunning bouquets.

BRIDE MAKE UNFORGETTABLE ENTRANCE... wondering how to get the undivided attention of your husband to be, apart from looking gorgeous, radiant and lovestruck as you walk down the aisle? A celebrant friend of mine recently sent me this wedding clip. Definitely worth a peek. Grab some tissues. :)

A fabulous afternoon and evening was had by over 120 mostly interstate guests. Heavy rain and thunderstorms heralded a move indoors to Ricky's River Bar and Restaurant where the clever team from Twig & Grace had devised a spectacularly modern ceremony setting. Songstress and songwriter Head provided beautiful live music to lift the already energised crowds to greater heights. The 'boys' arrived in their navy blazers, bow ties, crisp white shirts and lemon pants- a great look! Whilst the bridal party literally took your breath away. Kate, Elizabeth and Maid of Honour Naomi looked spectacular in a unique array of elegant cream dresses. Bride Amelia made her entrance on the arm of her doting father Peter. From start to finish the crowd responded eagerly to a fabulously written and hilarious love story penned by the groom himself. The groom's sister Clare read Sonnet 17 and the bride's best friend Tori read a poem entitled The day. Some illustrious guests were invited to this beautiful event which I am sure will be a great memory for all for many years to come. Thank yous must also go to Make-up by Jessica, Mint hair and nails Lyndal Carmichael Photography, Sarah Head, Queensland Entertainment, Sweetness Contained, Gondolas Of Noosa. Great working with all of you.

FALLING IN LOVE IS LIKE OWNING A DOG - by Taylor Mail.
I married a couple at a 6pm wedding ceremony this evening, who by request shall remain anonymous. They are a fun, relaxed and most generous couple whom I have known for a few years. Their intimate ceremony was attended by 5 witnesses of the human and canine variety. So I am sharing this poem with them in tribute of their intimate nuptials with an apt poem that I hope they will love. So here it is:
FALLING IN LOVE IS LIKE OWNING A DOG -by Taylor Mali.
Falling in Love is like owning a dog
First of all, it’s a big responsibility, So think long and hard before deciding on love.
On the other hand, love gives you a sense of security: ain’t no one going to mess with you.
On cold winter nights, love is warm. It lies between you and lives and breathes and makes funny noises.
Love wakes you up all hours of the night with its needs. It needs to be fed so it will grow and stay healthy.
Love doesn’t like being left alone for long. But come home and love is always happy to see you.
It may break a few things accidentally in its passion for life, but you can never be mad at love for long.
Is love good all the time? No! No! Love can be bad. Bad, love, bad! Very bad love.
Love makes messes. Love leaves you little surprises here and there. Love needs lots of cleaning up after.
Sometimes you just want to get love fixed.
Sometimes you want to roll up a piece of newspaper and swat love on the nose, not so much to cause pain, just to let love know Don’t you ever do that again!
Sometimes love just wants to go for a nice long walk. Because love loves exercise. It runs you around the block and leaves you panting.
It pulls you in several different directions at once, or winds around and around you until you’re all wound up and can’t move.
But love makes you meet people wherever you go. People who have nothing in common but love stop and talk to each other on the street.
Throw things away and love will bring them back, again, and again, and again.
But most of all, love needs love, lots of it.
And in return, love loves you and never stops.

When I walked into Stewart and Janelle's beautiful home this afternoon the party was in full swing. 25 family and friends including a few fabulous neighbours were sharing drinks and nibbles and by the sounds of it great stories and jokes in the lead up to the main event. Clever, creative Bride Janelle had created a gorgeous archway from her garden and the pair had decorated their home in a lavish, elegant black and white theme. Janelle's two adult sons escorted the bride down the aisle and were witnesses to the marriage. Stewart's children Eva and Boh acted as ring bearers. Their personal vows were a combination of light and shade., simple, light hearted but heartfelt. So much fun and laughter and a few tears thrown in for good measure. What a pleasure it was to conduct their wedding ceremon. Congratulations on a beautifully planned and executed celebration.

Breathtaking doesn't do justice to how Jacqueline looked in the stunning wedding gown as she floated on her father Colin's arm. Jacquie's 3 bridesmaids Alice, Jessica and maid of honour Carrie proceeded the bride to the elegant ceremony area complete with crystals dripping from the trees. Jacqueline and Wesley honoured their mothers with the role of witnessing their marriage on the jetty underneath a steel blue sky, a delightful surprise for them both. Alan Hughes Photography (Australia) was there to capture every beautiful moment.
Professional stylists Splash Events created the ceremony scene and styled the reception at the ever popular Sails Restaurant Noosa Noosa where the. reception was held. Expert wedding planners Chantel and Shannon from Weddings of Noosa oversaw every last detail of the day. Mike from Ceremony Sound, provided the music and sound; Birti The Bentley delivered the bride and bridal party and Tasleema Nigh - Makeup Artist made the girls look even more stunning.
