Happy Spring Lovers!

Here we go again, wedding season is back in full swing. If it seems as though I’ve been quiet on here, it’s because I have been crazy busy with meetings, writing and admin in an attempt to get on top of things before I find myself in the thick of peak season itself.

August kicked things off, with 11 incredible couples saying I Do with me but September is where the season really ramps up.

Things I mention in housekeeping 🎤

The first thing I like to do is fill ALL the seats and no, I’m not afraid to ensure each and every seat is filled with the exception of keeping any spare for whoever is walking the aisle at the front.

I then introduce any of my fellow vendors, whether that be musicians, photographers or videographers (were a friendly bunch here on the Sunshine Coast)

In the case of an unplugged ceremony - which is 99.9% of the time - I remind your guests that your fabulous photographer & videographer are capturing how the ceremony will look so that the guests can all focus on capturing how it FEELS without distraction, so please turn phones off and put them away.

I let them know when they should stand (if able) and what my cue will be for this, I also prep the guests on the confetti or petal toss as you exit the aisle in order to nail that shot.

And finally… I do a little crowd warming to ensure your guests are engaged and excited to welcome you to your wedding!
