And what a special one to be part of. ❤️

My beautiful Uncle and his gorgeous bride, saying “I do” on the stunning Sydney Harbour. 🥂🌊

How lucky am I to have been there to celebrate their love, witness such a beautiful moment, and be part of their special day.

Last week absolutely filled my cup! 🖤💛❤️

I had the absolute pleasure of MCing the Muru Yulang Networking Event with Yarpa, and what a room full of deadly business owners! 🔥

Hearing the stories behind so many amazing Aboriginal owned businesses, how they started, the hurdles they’ve overcome, and how they continue to grow and thrive, was seriously inspiring.

From marketing and arborists, to labour hire, virtual assistants, puppy fashion 🐶👗 and whole foods… it was all happening!

I’m so passionate about small business and supporting start ups, so hearing the why behind people and their businesses was right up my alley.

I was also honoured to facilitate a workshop exploring the combination of business + culture, two things that can be incredibly powerful when they come together.

Big ideas. Big stories. Big deadly energy.

And a room full of people backing themselves and building something of their own. 🙌🏾

That’s the kind of work that fills my cup.

Twenty five years ago, I remember waking up for school after the school disco the night before, only to see the devastation unfolding on the news.

We went to school, and the news stayed on all day. We talked about it all day. We were scared all day.

Even here in Australia, I remember being scared. Scared watching a country like America experience something so horrific. Scared that something like this could happen here. And scared for the families who were losing their loved ones.

Twenty five years on, we still talk about that day. That moment. The lives lost, the families changed forever, and the lasting impact of what happened.

Today, I hold in my heart the families who lost loved ones that day, and all those whose lives were forever changed. ❤️

Some moments in history stay with you forever. This is one of them.

What feels like a lifetime ago, I recorded my very first EP with the legend himself, Glen Hannah. ❤️

Glen was an absolute mastermind, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him and to co-write a couple of tunes alongside Glen and the incredibly talented Tamara Stewart.

That little EP holds so many memories, dreams, nerves and excitement from a much younger me who was just finding her feet in music. 🎶

And now, 21 years later, I’ve found myself falling in love with this EP all over again. 🥹❤️

It’s funny how music can take you straight back to a moment in time. Listening to these songs again has reminded me just how much I loved creating music and how much of that girl is still here.

21 years on… and I’m still singing. 🎤✨

What a beautiful little piece of my musical journey this EP is. ❤️

When I was studying to become a celebrant, I had to complete some practical assessments and my darling little babes stepped up and helped me bring them to life. 🥹❤️

This is my boy, Ezra, proudly playing the role of the school principal. 😂

And because he was taking his role VERY seriously, he tucked his shorts in to make himself look more professional. 🤣👏

I love looking back at these memories.

Thanks for always being my little helpers. ❤️

And Ezra… 10/10 for commitment to the character! 😂👔

A great MC is so much more than the person holding the microphone. They’re the person behind the scenes helping everything run smoothly and keeping your guests engaged.

✨ Keeping the schedule on track
✨ Introducing speakers, performances and special moments
✨ Working alongside suppliers and event staff
✨ Helping nervous speakers feel comfortable
✨ Reading the room and keeping the energy flowing
✨ Thinking on their feet when things don’t quite go to plan!

Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, corporate function, awards night, fundraiser or special celebration, your MC plays an important role in creating an event that feels seamless, welcoming and fun.

Most importantly? Your MC helps you enjoy your own event. ❤️
