Tamworth was a true rollercoaster. Inspiring, challenging, and deeply grounding all at once. I spent more time living it than posting it, letting the moments unfold without distraction.
After six nights camping solo with 5 days of busking, finishing the rest of the festival with my family was something special. So grateful for the growth that came with it and straight from Tamworth into my first wedding of the year yesterday 🤍

The country has always held a special place in my heart.
Growing up, I went to a family farm we visited every year riding quad bikes, learning to drive my first car, and simply observing a slower way of life.

Coming from the Central Coast not quite like the country. That contrast stayed with me.

That’s what keeps drawing me back to Tamworth.

I’ve always loved the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to sing at a number of weddings here. I even bought my current guitar from a music store in Tamworth, which somehow feels fitting, like another thread tying me back to this place.

I started my music career busking on the streets of Terrigal on the Central Coast. So coming back to busking now, during this season of my life, feels full circle. After everything that’s happened over the past couple of years, this part of my healing journey felt like it needed to bring me back to my roots.

I’m not strictly a country singer, but I’ve been told I have a country twang. I was taught by Gina Jeffreys, and country music has always had a special place in my heart. I sing it at weddings, I carry it with me, even as my path moves through different genres.

So here I am.
Alone. Vulnerable. Showing up anyway.
Choosing to grow, to heal, and to trust that sometimes going back is how you move forward.
