Hi, I’m Zy!
I thought it was about time to finally introduce myself as the new owner of Vintage Peacock.
Firstly, I just want to say what a privilege it is to take over this business that Julia has built with so much care, creativity and heart, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust she has placed in me to continue its story and for all of her help during this transition phase 🤍
A little about me — I grew up in country NSW but have called Newcastle home for more than half my life now. I get to live my soccer mum dream with my 2 boys, and have 2 dogs and 6 backyard chickens who definitely keep life interesting!
Before becoming a mum, I studied Event Management and worked in styling, events and PR, so in many ways this feels like coming home. I’ve always loved creating beautiful spaces, thoughtful details and memorable experiences, I LOVE throwing a good party and I couldn’t be more excited to bring that passion to Vintage Peacock!
While I may be the new face behind the business, my goal remains the same, to continue creating thoughtful, beautiful celebrations that feel personal, relaxed and uniquely yours.
Thank you for all the lovely messages and support so far. I can’t wait to work with all the vendors who make this industry so special, to meet new couples, hear your stories, and be part of your special moments.
