Far beyond the fun and playful aspect of yoga for kids are the lifelong benefits they gain. Our breath is the first thing we do when we are born, and the last thing we do when we die. Being able to use it well throughout our lives means we live well. The kids in my classes may not always fully grasp the importance of why we do it, but they'll remember how it made them feel forever.

Secret Flute Society
1st Monday of the Month

The Secret Flute Society of Newcastle is a community flute choir lead by flautist/composer/educator Jennifer Hankin (The Emerald Ruby). Open to adult flautists of all levels living in the Newcastle/Hunter region, this warm and accepting musical space is for like minded individuals to connect over the shared joy of flute playing.
