This Saturday and Sunday at Rasa Lila we have a wonderful yoga workshop being run by two experienced and yogis who are traveling and have stopped in Newcastle for the coming month.

Dates: Saturday & Sunday, October 25-26, 2025

Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (both days)
OR
9-10.30 Hatha Style Class (both days)

Duration: 14 hours total (7 hours each day)

Venue: Rasa Lila Studio, Newcastle, NSW

We are very lucky at Rasa Lila to have The Raspberry Butterfly and North Lake Cakery next door to us. Today one of the lovely ladies from North Lake Cakery brought this over for us to take home. What a treat!!! It tastes as good as it looks.

Rasa Lila Arts present a Spring Soiree, a fundraiser for Jenny's Place. Jenny's Place provides safe passage and transformational support to help rebuild the lives of women and children living with domestic and family violence and/or homelessness.

Location: 27 Marton St Shortland
Date: 1st Nov 2025
Time: 7-10pm

Chloe will be performing an intimate stripped back band set, supported on the evening by two local bands. Clyde Street Band who will have you toe tapping to country rock then grooving to latin rhythms and soulful jazz. Banjo, blues harp, congas, ubass and ukes meld to perform an eclectic mix of musical genres. Followed by the Gospel-ele Sisters who are veterans of gospel harmony (think the Café of the Gate of Salvation choir). Ruth McCrae, Sacha Kilgour and Jo Maunsell with special guest Jane Jelbart, band together celebrating decades of friendship with their uplifting, soul-stirring harmonies.
