Brooke’s childhood home gained another magical memory yesterday. A wedding rooted in sentiment, thoughtful touches and a very hard working Dad who created Brooke’s fairy garden paradise.

Bouquets made from the flowers in the garden and their ceremony arbor made from a tree in their backyard and the cake made by her mum.

Congrats Brooke & Tas- it was truly special to share the day with you.

October is my wildest month in business yet. 15 weddings all in one month. IM SO EXCITED!!! Meetings are done, vows are read and ceremonies are written. Eeeeep.

This moment after they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife. Surreal, on cloud nine. Emotions are running high.

Caitlin & Baden have been together for long, this was just the natural next step and I’m glad I was part of it.

Ash & Tom did things different. A first look and the legal paperwork sorted before the ceremony. Their wedding party watching on. They picked the traditions that were meaningful to them- I’m here for it.

Their ceremony was sooooo special. So personal. None of the legal jargon. The best.

Yesterday, Mackenzie and Sam did a first look. I asked them after the ceremony- “did the first look ruin your aisle moment?” Their answer “absolutely not. If anything we were both calmer and more present.”

Sam still cried. Mackenzie still had all the butterflies. They were at their cocktail hour with their guests.

Over 12 months of messages, phone calls, meetings and emails happen before your wedding day. I’ve gotten to know you- the in’s and out’s of your relationship, who you are, your families.

So it’s always bittersweet saying goodbye to the people you’ve invested so much time in.

Holly + Oli- the love in the room was PALPABLE. The sniffles from happy tears filled the room as they said their vows to one another. These two are just head over heels for each other.

The napkin colour may seem really important at the time BUT you and your guests will always remember how they felt at the most important moment of the day. Everything else is a bonus.

Your ceremony should have impact. It should hit right in the feels then make people laugh the next second. Your celebrant is an important choice. Don’t leave it to last.

I hope you know that this is exactly how I look + feel when I walk into your wedding day.
I love my job. It was meant for me.

The same messages always come through- “we saw you at our friends ceremony and we want you too”, “I love your vibe”. It’s honestly the BIGGEST compliments I could receive. I don’t take this for granted.

I am creating the atmosphere and vibe that will carry the rest of your day.

As I head into what will be the busiest 3 months I’ve ever done, I’m so excited to be travelling to some fav spots and some new spots- here, there and every where!!!
