Getting Ready Photos… or not to getting ready photos? 📸🤍

Do you actually need photos while you’re getting ready on the morning of your wedding?

YES — if you want to remember the little moments.

The champagne with your girls.
Your dress hanging up.
Hair and makeup.
The final touches.
Your mum helping you into your dress.
The laughs, the nerves and all those little moments you might not even notice on the day.

But…
You don’t have to.

If you’d rather keep your morning private, relaxed and completely present, that’s okay too.

And if your photographer has limited hours, you might prefer to use that time later in the day when everyone is together.

My advice? Think about what you’ll want to look back on in 10 years.

Because sometimes it’s not the perfectly posed photos you treasure most…
It’s the little moments you didn’t realise were so special. 🖤

TO BRIDAL PARTY OR NOT TO BRIDAL PARTY? 🤍

But when it comes to your wedding day, recommendations should be built on more than just a conversation or a social media connection.

As a Wedding Planner, every vendor I recommend is someone I've worked alongside at a real wedding. I've witnessed their professionalism, communication, punctuality and how they handle the unexpected when it matters most.

When I recommend someone, I'm also putting my own reputation behind that recommendation. I don't recommend vendors based on a quick conversation, a styled shoot or an open day.

So if someone recommends a vendor, don't be afraid to ask:
