A Love Letter & Farewell to Higher Ground 🌿🔊
From 2022 to now, Higher Ground has been a labour of love, a vision quest, and a living, breathing experiment in what’s possible when community, creativity, and bass collide.
What began as a platform to showcase Newy’s finest and up-and-coming DJs, producers, and creatives grew into something far bigger: an immersive, surreal, and safe space for radical self-expression, big boppy badass bass music, and deep collective release.
Together, we built something that felt otherworldly.... perfecting a blueprint for events still to come, Alike in spirit, but never the same.
To the artists who trusted the vision, the creatives who shaped the atmosphere, the helpers who held it all together behind the scenes, and the patrons who danced, supported, and believed, thank you. Truly. None of this existed without you.
Higher Ground will be remembered and adored by many, and its energy will ripple outward long after the final bassline fades.
