As an events coordinator I know what a venue needs to support a great event.

From the moment I set foot in Sanctuary I felt its rich history and foundations as a place of community and celebration. I knew others would feel welcome and inspired by its abundant natural light, peaceful bush surroundings, and flexible space.

Not to mention the free parking and beautiful teapots 😉

As the Founder and Manager at Sanctuary, I love supporting you for your event almost as much as I love hosting my own events here. And hosting my own events here means I notice the little things that can make a big difference to the smooth running of your event.

What a year 2024 has been!

We've seen birthdays, weddings, workshops, art showcases, markets, and mehndi parties! There have been communities created, businesses built, and lives celebrated. People have come together to practice yoga, eat, drink and nourish themselves and their communities.

It's always an honour to be a part of your events and we can't wait to see what new adventures we will journey on together in 2025!

We hired Sanctuary to hold our team Christmas Party, and it was the perfect space for our event. Lauren and Jaqui were a delight to work with and made hiring Sanctuary a breeze. The space was all set up for us ready to go, which made our event fairly relaxed and straight forward. Highly recommend Sanctuary for anyone needing an events space in Canberra!

We are big on flexibility around here. That means you pay to hire the space including kitchen and bathrooms, then build from there.

Our optional extras include:
* Chairs and tables
* Crockery, cutlery, and glassware
* Table cloths and napkins
* Candles and vases
* Catering

And if that's not enough, we have an event planner, photographer and celebrant we can call for you!
