PRAISE MOUNTAIN FARM Weddings & Events WINTER SHOWCASE is on 5 July 2026 from 2PM !

Come and celebrate the re-opening of Moreton Bays only wedding venue on a huge 40acre private estate. We have lots of suppliers on hand to answer all your questions and help bring your whole day together. Tour the venue with Vicki or Craig and chat about all the possibilities on offer. From multiple ceremony locations to explore (Mountain Deck or Creekside) to our beautiful new Homestead dinning room and grounds.
Free car parking on site is available. Menu tastings on offer from a variety of caterers and a free welcome drink awaits the bride and groom at the newly built bar area.
From Celebrants, Photographers,Bridal gowns, Florists, H&MUA, Caterers etc through to our in-house floral stylist and planner, we have every detail covered for you and bookings are available on the day.

Update time again friends!

Firstly thankyou so much to everyone who has been following our progress through the Praise Mountain Farm development. It has definitely been a ride to get to this point and your messages of support and interest in the build has meant everything to us.

We are finally getting to the fun part of things where we are seeing glimpses of the final product starting to show, sometimes!😅
After many months of underground and behind the scenes work at the venue we are now at the fit out stage. Internal wall linings are being finished off after most of the wall frames were replaced and treated. (Thanks so much, termites of Narangba!) External brick finish coming. Bathroom floor tiling has begun with all fixtures and fittings on order. 4x 6m stacking glass doors now feature in the main dining room allowing for amazing views of the surrounding property, with strip lighting and a modern wrought iron chandelier being the highlight around our pitched timber ceiling of the original house. The northern end of this room is crying out for a styled bridal table so I can’t wait for our June weddings. An adjoining bar area is still to be constructed in the alfresco / lounge area with driveway extension resurface and wheelchair car parking and access.

The garden cleanup has begun this week with new external lighting etc being installed also, and YES , our fairy light canopy over the lawn is definitely going back up. haha absolutely!

With our new ‘Praise Mountain Signature Package’ now on sale we have every possible thing you could want covered. Well friends, Not your everyday wedding venue post!

Thought it was time for you all to check in and see our progress on the PMF refurbishment as our last post has created lots of interest in what is to come. As you can see the guys have been, let’s just say, beyond busy with the demo of all internal walls on the old house including a brick fireplace, 4 bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, 2 living areas etc. With the discovery of quite a few lil termite friends hiding beneath the surface we then had to spray and replace most of the perimeter wall framing before anything else could continue, all while tempering the roof and praying we didn’t get a storm in the process. 🫣
Jackhammers are in to enable underground plumbing to be changed for the new internal bathroom layout. Support beams for the new 6m stacker glass doors are installed with Power Trusses and Timber LVL beams each end to support the trussed ceiling on either end of the existing pitched timber roof.

Asphalt and cement quotes coming in hot currently for the driveway extension and car parking, disability parking and loading bay areas. Along with quotes for the new bar & wash up/storage areas These will be finalised and on order in the next couple of days.

For only 3 weeks on this project since trades began after Christmas break, I think you can agree this is phenomenal progress.

Plumbing and electrical rough in will soon commence with all colours and finishes also now being decided for the internal and external areas of the building and surrounds.

Thanks so much everyone for your interest and patience during this temporary closure. We really appreciate all the check ins to make sure we’re doing ok and updates along the way. We are currently running to schedule for open days hopefully around mid-late May with our first weddings after our reopening in June this year.🥂CANT WAIT!!!

Well we definitely hit the ground running with the venue renovations after our last 2025 wedding on 13th December. We have started things off with a BANG you might say the following Monday morning. A new Taylex wastewater system has been installed with a secondary HSTP. We have installed a separate septic with pump well at the new owners residence on the property which has just been constructed over the last 6 months. (Huge shout out to Matt, Scott and Heath at MD & SJ Kleinig Constructions for bringing the dream to life). Both buildings and all pumps are now connected via waste water and solar power and running to the new wastewater system fitted with spray irrigation to the designated lawn area as specified by design engineer and has council approval. With an extra day of excavation required due to rock being encountered this was cause for concern at times, both time wise and budget but we got there.

Mission completed so far! Haha… 😅We are on track and so excited for the progress to continue in 2026.

Craig and I would like to wish all our past and present clients, suppliers and contractors a beautiful Christmas. Please stay safe, enjoy each other and everything you’ve worked for all year.

With stage 1 of the PMF development now complete, stage 2 begins with refurbishment of an internal seating area, alfresco canapé area, bathrooms and bar areas.
