Last night we had the absolute pleasure of catering a surprise wedding out on a beautiful family farm in Dunedoo.

Three of us powered through feeding 160 guests out of the house kitchen - chaotic, cosy, and honestly iconic. Huge shoutout to the Dunedoo Leos for jumping in with helping hands. Couldn’t have done it without you legends.
These local teens donate their time to work events in the community.

We rolled out a whole lineup of new starters and they absolutely slapped:
1. Watermelon, mint, halloumi and honey skewers - the dream team of flavours
2. Crumbed chicken bites with lime aioli
3. Lamb kofta pita wraps with rocket, tzatziki and pomegranate glaze
4. Sticky Asian pork belly bites
5. Slow cooked brisket sliders with aioli, pickles and slaw

A shoutout to working mums who try to fit work in around their babies. It isn’t easy. The mum guilt is real. But we do it day after day because we dream of a good life for our kiddos.

I’ve been putting in endless hours (with the food van) and just breaking even, to be honest it just feels like I’ve started all over again. I feel so much pressure and guilt for putting myself and my little family through it (all put on myself, not from anyone else, I am my harshest critic)

For the first year or so of soul mamas I didn’t pay myself, everything was put back into the business as I learnt what I know now. There’s no handbook for running a catering business, just sweat and tears, mistakes, and being able to learn from it all.

So to all mamas, but especially those trying to build their empire, I see you, I take my hat off to you, this s**t ain’t for the weak, keep persevering, take the highs with the lows, and be gentle with yourself ❤️

Well done to on two massive events for our region, and

This very exhausted mama is verrrrrry glad it’s all over, and i never want to push myself (or my poor husband/kids and crew) like that ever again.

I am very burnt out, had some big lessons to learn, and a deep fryer fire on the first day of the rugby carnival, which was fixed by the wonderful

One day of rest before I need to start getting ready for this weekends catering gig 😶‍🌫️

Thanks to all involved, and to those that supported us these past 5 days. This s**t ain’t for the weak I tell ya
