We all absolutely love our Ballarat Show .....we know weren't able to put on a show last year but this year we are back bigger & better than ever! ❤️🤗

Today we were excited to welcome Catherine King to our new home at Mount Rowan as she announced a wonderful 1.5M election pledge towards us building our Brand New Events and Exhibition Centre! 🎉🎉This will be built onto the west end of the already amazing Equestrian Centre. We would seat 300 people (banquet style) or 400 plus people standing! This venue will give opportunity for so many new and existing events to call Ballarat home!

For 170 years, the Ballarat Show has been a significant event on our community's calendar. And now, they're moving to a new home in Mount Rowan.

Today we've announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will make this move even better.

We'll provide $1.5 million to establishing a new Event and Exhibition Centre, for use during the show and for events like Ballarat Ag Ball, the Wine Show, the opening night show dinners, the Ballarat Rural Achievers award and any number of future conferences, workshops and events.

It will be a welcome investment and a real asset for our whole community.

We might not get another 170 years out of the new building, but I can't wait to see it become the show's perfect home for decades to come!
