Nicole and Luke - cowboy hats and boots, the rustic Noojee trestle bridge and a small gathering for friends a family, you know you’re on a winner. We were a little late starting as the kids were hungry so needed to demolish some Oreo packets first 😂 🍪

Very them was the ceremony; chilled, about their kids and family, the off to the Noojee pub to celebrate with lots of laughs.

When Poison’s classic tune, ‘Nothing but a good time’ wraps up the ceremony, you know they’re going to party and enjoy🤘🏻

Wonderful to work with who sent this couple my way, too.

Selina and Cameron popped into my place last month to legally marry before heading off on a NZ trip which included bungee jumping together in Taupō, going to the sky tower in Auckland, and visiting Hobbiton.

It was just the couple, so cue my daughter and neighbour to act as witnesses. Just the way they wanted it!

Katie and Luke held an intimate celebration with and their family. It was a perfect Autumn day in the Yarra Valley.

For their vows, they shared sections back and forth and included family members throughout the ceremony.

Two hours for a ceremony, photos, charcuterie board and drinks is the perfect micro wedding or elopement.

❤️Kiara and Steve❤️ What a day and night it was (not to mention all the pics I’ve seen from the honeymoon in Dubai and The Maldives!)

Kiara walked into my class in 2012, year 7, at Lilydale Heights College and contacted me last year to be her celebrant and MC as she married her love, Steve. It’s certainly been a busy time marrying students I taught to their forever person.

It was a fun and emotional day that involved many family members and friends in the ceremony, meaningful speeches and a packed dance floor in the evening.

Such a wonderful day and night bringing everything together with laughs, love and fun. It was great to hangout with and into the Eve.

Thao and Cale had a wonderful ceremony and reception at one of my faves
last month.

I was their celebrant and MC and we had a wonderful time with the shoe game and prizes for guests being a highlight.

⭐️ 25 years together ⭐️

Julie and Meagan married 25.3.25 after 25 years at their beautiful home. The numbers aligned for this wedding. With themselves, 2 witnesses and me, we had 3 Julie’s in the house!

They have both been involved in education out east for many years so there was plenty of chat about all the connections we had and the educators we all know.

A text and photo next day from Julie:

‘Thank you for such a relaxed ceremony. We followed up with a lovely dinner out with family.  The day was just what Meagan and I wanted’.

And THAT’S what I’m talkin’ about (who knew I’d quote anything from Hawthorn FC 😜)

Courtney and James married at Docklands and, the ceremony is held indoors here with that sea view, so we escaped the rain. 50 guests for a cocktail-style wedding was perfect.

After meeting at Maccas years ago, the ceremony incorporated their parents and siblings which highlighted the importance of family to them.

Georgie and Brandan married last Saturday with a country vibe amongst the helicopters flying over every couple of minutes to deliver water to the nearby bushfire. Their daughter, Billie, helped us out too.

I first met Georgie, and her twin Marissa, in 2012 when they were both in my class at Lilydale Heights college in year 7. It’s been great to follow both of their journeys and be involved with the family and friends for other weddings as well.

I’ve seen awesome pics from who is always fabulous.

It’s certainly been a weekend of negotiating the weather! Steph and Brayden married with and 20 family and friends in attendance.

It was their 12th anniversary and their two kids were a big part of the ceremony (little Oscar offering us a number of tap dances during the ceremony!)
