Arranging a cremation in regional Victoria costs less than it does in metropolitan Melbourne. That's how we hold a direct cremation at $2900 without cutting back on the care your person receives.

We use Eaglehawk Remembrance Park in Bendigo. We've visited. We know the team there. It's a crematorium we trust.

If you'd rather your person was cremated closer to home, we'll arrange it. Bunurong, Springvale, Lilydale, Fawkner, Altona, Gippsland, or any other crematorium of your choice, with an updated quote first.

Naomi was absolutely incredible as our funeral director. She was knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and so sensitive throughout the entire process. During such a difficult time for our family, she made everything feel so much easier and less overwhelming.

Even with no service, your person still needs to be placed in a coffin. It's a legal requirement in Victoria and it's needed for the cremation itself.

We use a simple, sustainable cardboard coffin. It's affordable, it's environmentally sound, and it meets every legal and crematorium requirement.

If you'd prefer timber, pine, MDF, wicker or wool, we can arrange it. It won't change the cremation. It will change the price, and we'll quote you before you decide.

As a financial planner, I never hesitate to recommend Naomi and the team at Vivid Funerals to clients who are planning ahead.

What I appreciate most is that Naomi takes the time to explain things properly and gives people clear information so they can make decisions that are right for them. I know that when I send someone her way, they’ll be looked after and won’t be sold something they don’t need.

I also really like Vivid’s pricing model. They charge a fixed professional services fee and pass on other services at wholesale cost, which makes the whole process far more transparent than many people expect.

Most of all, Naomi understands that every person is different. She takes the time to learn what’s important to the family and helps create something that feels like a genuine reflection of the person who has died.

That’s why I feel completely comfortable recommending Vivid Funerals to any of my clients in Melbourne or on the Mornington Peninsula.

When our family recently needed to arrange a direct cremation for my mother-in-law, Naomi from Vivid Funerals provided truly exceptional support.

From our first phone call, Naomi’s customer service, knowledge, and compassion stood out. She clearly explained the entire direct cremation process, guided us through the paperwork, and made sure we understood each step. During such a difficult time, having someone so organised, calm, and caring made a huge difference.

Naomi showed genuine empathy and professionalism, treating our family with respect and kindness throughout the process and even gave us guidance on hosting the memorial ourselves and what we needed to plan for and consider to honour Mum’s memory at the memorial. Her experience and understanding of funeral services gave us complete confidence that everything was being handled with dignity and care.
