Swipe right to see my VERY first ceremony 👉🏼

A friend of a friend, a tiny handful of guests… and me, absolutely sweating! My mouth was so dry it felt like I’d swallowed a handful of sand 😅

Fast forward 8 years… and on Saturday I celebrated my 500th wedding 🤍

1000 people married!! Wild!

All while growing, raising and surviving life with my 3 sassy little ladies, house Reno’s, a global pandemic etc

In those 8 years I’ve married couples from every walk of life, from big, elaborate celebrations… to standing in someone’s kitchen while they’re still in their work uniforms. And honestly, I’ve loved every single version.

Somewhere along the way I also built a little dream team with my own wedding photographer 📸

Then I found myself in the funeral industry, which was never on my radar and co-created with my amazing biz partner Emma 🤍

I’ve jumped into MCing, dabbled in on-the-day coordination… ✌🏼

I truly never imagined this is where I’d end up but wow, what a ride it’s been.

✨ Some standout moments:
• Being both celebrant AND bridesmaid for my sister… with a 4-week-old baby in tow
• Two double weddings (yes, double the chaos)
• Marrying beautiful friends in Portugal 🇵🇹
• Marrying SIX couples in one day (never again 😅)
• Marrying my student midwife who helped bring my first baby into the world 🥹
• Marrying so many friends, from school, old jobs, family circles & my work with Make-A-Wish

But the absolute BEST part? The people.
The friendships. The vendor fam. The couples. My celebuddies.

Some of these legends I talk to as much as my actual family (voice notes on the daily)

I’ll forever be grateful for this job, the flexibility it gives me as a mum, the joy of driving home after a ceremony never gets old and the lifelong connections that come with it.

To every single couple who has trusted me with your special day… thank you 🤍

It means more to me than you’ll ever know 🙏

Being able to marry friends is just one of the many perks of this job.

Dani and I met working in the travel industry before I had my girls and became a celebrant.

Dani has been to so many of my weddings over the years, so it was pretty special to finally make it official for her and her now husband- Jarryd in front of many of our former work friends and follow up with being MC and a guest at their reception.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Cowan! I loved being part of your special day 🤍🤍🤍

Feeling so grateful and honoured to have been asked to be celebrant & MC for our beautiful friends & in sunny Portugal!

It was quite the mission getting the whole family over to Europe but we made it and had the most wonderful time with everyone.

It was a very hot day (38 degrees) but despite the heat the wedding day was fabulous, with an outdoor reception and everyone dancing barefoot under the stars.

Thank you so much for having me and my family Mr & Mrs Handcock ❤️

It truly was an honour ❤️

I personally love the really hectic wedding months, although with life and 3 kids also in the mix it is very chaotic!

What a hectic ten years we have had!

IVF & miscarriage

2 houses
Endless renovations
Many holidays
Career changes

Ten years ago it was the night before my wedding 💒

I spent the night at my parents house with my two sisters (my bridesmaids) we had French toast for dinner and watched my favourite movie ever- father of the bride 👰‍♀️

I was both nervous and excited for the big day ahead!

Little did I know I would end up working as a celebrant a few years later and be surrounded by all things wedding on a daily basis 🩷
