It has been a productive week at the studio. I have cultivated numerous celosia with the objective of having them ready for harvest in time for an event that requires vibrant blooms. I have been collecting native seed pods for a project, drying sunflower seeds, and creating preserved pieces for sale.
The herb garden was overflowing and the turmeric was ready for harvest. Herbs are always a great option to decorate with, not only do they create an inviting atmosphere, the fragrance is divine!
It’s time to take a well-deserved break!

Once a design has been selected by the client, each botanical piece undergoes a meticulous drying and preservation process.
The resin pouring process is conducted in stages, allowing sufficient time for drying within each pour. This entire process can take up to 3 months, but the end result will not only complement your decor, but also serve as a poignant reminder of your special day.

It was time to harvest some Gomphrena in preparation for drying. There is always a substantial amount to address with gardening. I will be preparing garden beds for seeding within the next two weeks. Freddy is never too far away 💕
