A Heartfelt Farewell:Closing Our Doors After 42 Years in Business
We are sorry to say that after 42 years in the industry, it has just gotten to be so difficult to run a small business that we have had no choice but to close all operations effective immediately. We apologise to our loyal existing, previous and potential customers but we can no longer continue operations due to the extraordinary high costs of being in business in 2024.

We have tried over the past 5 months to sell our businesses so that what we have created will continue beyond our stewardship, but it seems that nobody has either the desire, the money or the work ethic required to take things forward.

It is a very sad day for us to close our small business, but like many small business operators we can no longer afford to work tirelessly for 50 to 60 hours a week to pay bills and then still have the tax department, workers compensation, insurance companies, electricity and telecommunication companies all still have their hands out for more…..

We have no more to give.

We will miss bringing joy and fun to so many people through the products we have provided and created and we truly thank every single one of our customers for their support.

Being in small business is hard. People’s expectations are often difficult to meet.
But when someone resorts to being awful and yelling. We have the right to cancel any order. No one should have to deal with nastiness. So there will be some awful things said about us for sure in the next few days.
We have just been told by a man at our warehouse door that he is going to ruin us and tell everyone.

This is a balloon business.
It is not life or death.

I hope you all have a good weekend.

* and now the man has picked up one of our pot plants and thrown it at our van that is parked out front windscreen.

Again this is over BALLOONS

**thankfully and yet also sadly all the behaviour and calls are recorded on camera. And a report has been made to the police.
We have young junior staff who work for us and all of this at our front door is just terrible for them to witness and scary.
