Our Story

White Elk Events was created in 2017 as a furniture and styling service to compliment our bamboo yurts. Jamie and I had already been operating Montville Yurts, supplying handmade marquees for wedding, festivals and events. It was really just about bringing the two elements together. Since then we have been busy creating great spaces in and around the Sunshine Coast’s beautiful outdoors.

Our Style Ethos: Our furnishings are grounded in a neutral palette. We have incorporated a lot of clean tones tempered with some softer neutrals. Colour can then be introduced with artisan items, flowers and accessories. At White Elk you will find eco friendly options including biodegradable catering and recycled or upcycled furniture.

We are strongly committed to being a sustainable business that seeks to minimise it’s own environmental footprint by providing low impact alternative’s for outdoor celebrations and are very proud of our EcoBiz partnership awarded earlier this year. Our goal is to keep learning and adopting new ways in which we can positively address sustainability in events.
