... what can even be said at this point.
Like so many others in our industry our precious shoppe is filled to the brim with fresh, beautiful flowers that need homes. With the loss of not just foot traffic but our corporate clients and cancelled birthdays and events (including our boss lady's 😔 ) we have a lot of stock to move..
We will be sharing for all our friends and peers in the industry also who have again lost events and weddings last minute and been left with perishable items be it food or flowers.
We will be open 10-6 on a contactless delivery/click and collect basis.
Pre order is gently encouraged and same day deliveries must be ordered prior to 11am.
We know it's exhausting and heartbreaking. We're feeling it too.

This arrangement was the last wedding arrangement I made before lockdown.. after a postponement, for the beautiful
Man. I've cried heaps these last few weeks. Lockdown 4.0, postponements, a big personal move, friends, family and peers really struggling and then the utter destruction of the place that holds my heart and my peace. The hills. The beautiful Mount Dandenongs and its surrounds.
In the absence of much media coverage and little government support or assistance watching our community and wider community come together has absolutely blown me away.
Cafes and restaurants who are already struggling due to restrictions and power outages/waste offering free food and beverages. Small businesses creating amazing donation options from pay it forward meals to financial donations for hotel stays. Entire communities with no financial supplements and their own personal struggles coming together to create hubs, homes and havens for displaced people and animals in our communities.
SES and CFA working literally day and night away from their families. Many affected themselves.
It just goes to show our resilience, that regardless of a pandemic, lockdowns, mother nature and our personal struggles that so many people are inherently caring, generous, kind and loving in the face of adversity even when they are struggling themselves. Whether it be financially, physically or emotionally.
I've not been sleeping well. But I will tonight.
Feeling so privileged to be a part of such a phenomenal effort.
Keep it up. Keep going. Keep on keeping on.
We're better together.

Well that was wild. 😬
Back to 'normal' in store for us tomorrow with a later opening time of 11am to give us time to restock and re'shoosh' the shop for everyone to enjoy.
We'd like to extend all of our love and gratitude to our community and network for your support over the past few days.
We will truly never forget it. We'd love to mention every individual and business that helped us through it but it would put all our other online essays to shame.
Sending our love to all those in the events, hospitality and retail sectors affected by the snap lockdown and to all the couples who have had to postpone their special day, some for the second time.
