So, a big thanks to Christine Leitch who so lovingly made a Kilt for Black Heart McGee as well as a proper soldier’s cap complete with a feather plume (or hackle as they sometimes called). El Chapo now sports a far more sun smart Fedora hat, his moustache has been revived, his pants don’t fall off cause he’s got braces on and he’s armed because the neighbours look kind of nosy & awkward.

Well, Christmas turned into January, then February, Nek minute, March.
Soo, it’s time provides a long awaited, highly anticipated, possibly exciting (or not) update on El Chapo & his long lost Scottish Brother. Blackheart McGee!
Well, as you aware, old Chapo has been around a bit, been in a few wars & countless misadventures. As such, he was starting to look very tired & very second hand. He’d lost his Tequila hat, his moustache had faded, he’d lost that cheeky sparkle in his eye and his pants kept falling off.
It was not a great look.
Something had to be done!
So after a couple of drinks, a plan was hatched & a road trip down South for Christmas was agreed upon

So guess who did not go and see Metallica last night!?
Apparently due to some fascist rule at Suncorp Stadium it was advised to me that Rubber Chickens, even jet setting, Adventure Chickens would probably not be welcome inside the stadium & would run the risk of being taken into custody. Probably to a “Black Site” , maybe never seen again. Possibly Waterboarded for information. Again.
It just wasn’t worth the risk.
Stayed home, had a couple of ciders, with Security.🤔😎🙄

Okay, this is one for “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” but it did really happen & of course it happened to us!
As people may know, Jen has been away for 5 weeks galavanting around overseas & Jack & I have been batching.
So to start off, I’m OK, Jacks OK & apart from us both having to be hospitalised at separate times for unrelated issues, that’s a different story, all good. NOW, this really did happen & now there has been permanent scarring to occur.
The other morning I went out the back to inspect the property & found the Crystal Ball that we’ve used to predict the future with previously, had attacked Black Heart McGee using magical solar rays. I could see smoke rising from his foot & it took me a while to work out what was happening, when I realised, I took immediate action & removed him from the danger zone. *NOTE* I have tried to do a recreation of what happened in photos, but the timing was out. Black Heart McGee now wears the scars of yet another battle with civilisation…….

The boys have been behaving themselves lately so they thought they may have a few drinks……..😳😎🍻🥃

Been back at the Homestead for a little while now but too busy to post. While i have a spare minute here’s El Chapo & Brother Black Heart showing off the loot they plundered whilst marauding around the UK, Ireland & Scotland!
2 chickens means twice as much bounty!
Also featured are the overweight tags that seemed to follow are bags wherever we went. 🤔🙄
There was also a lot of amusing conversations with Security personnel on the trip involving alcohol & rubber chickens……….😆😄🤔🙄🍻🥃😎

May have had another interaction with airport security again….
Apparently explosives were detected in the bag, lots of questions asked about why i could possibly testing positive ?(including occupation, & hobbies?) After another body search (all very professionally done & in an extremely pleasant manner) it was declared that rubber chickens are okay, sun screen not. Even got recognised by another Security Officer who said “ey, I remember you from last week, how are you going?👍😀😎
Still not happy about the travelling arrangements.🙄
