Hope everyone who bullied me is happy as I have been let go from the netball coverage this year. I am truly heartbroken as It was my biggest passion and I grew netball from no coverage to being highlighted and getting the coverage netballers deserved. This was at no choice of my own; and I am sorry to the netballers that I invested time and effort into. it will be missed.

COURTNEY WAKEFIELD RETURNS HOME 🙌🏻

Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
The Robinvale Euston Football Netball Club is thrilled to announce that Courtney Wakefield (nee Healy) is returning home as our A Grade Netball Playing Coach for the 2026 season.

A true local talent, Courtney’s netball journey began right here at the Eagles - achieving back-to-back U/17 premierships, U/17 league Best & Fairest, and going on to claim both A Grade premiership success (2005) and the A Grade league Best & Fairest in 2006, along with multiple club awards.

Her career soared further at Wentworth, where she added three A Grade premierships, another A Grade league Best & Fairest in 2023, and continued to dominate with multiple club Best & Fairests.

Courtney’s talent was recognised at the elite level, playing four AFLW seasons, where she became a two-time leading goal kicker, Players’ Player award recipient, and was honoured as an AFLW All Australian in 2022.

Local born and bred, Courtney carries on the proud Healy legacy in red, white and black - and we couldn’t be prouder to welcome her home to lead our A Grade side in 2026. ❤️🤍🖤

Christie is joining the Green & White!

The Imperial Football & Netball Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Christie Becker as our Senior Netball Coach.

Christie joins our club with an exceptional netball résumé, having been a key member of the dominant Wentworth A Grade side over many years, contributing to multiple premierships, including the club’s undefeated 2025 campaign.

In addition to her on court success, Christie brings extensive coaching experience across both senior and junior levels, including her involvement with SFNL Academy squads and regular umpiring duties on game days.

Christie is also the mastermind of the highly regarded Fast Feet Program, which has benefited countless netballers across our region. Her expertise in player development and performance will play a vital role in enhancing our junior program and providing strong support to our coaching network.

A true professional, Christie’s appointment is a tremendous coup and significant gain for our club. Her passion and dedication are already on display, with preparations for the 2026 season well underway.

To further strengthen our netball leadership, we are delighted to announce Sommar Briggs as A-Grade Assistant and Bench Coach for 2026.
Sommar brings a wealth of coaching experience, including previous A-Grade coaching and outstanding success in junior development most notably guiding our 13 Under Div 1 team to premiership success this season.

We extend a warm welcome to Christie and partner, Isaac Reimann.
