Wednesday — Jeera Rice with Delhi Chole & Onion Salad for lunch, Chicken or Paneer Tikka Masala Wraps with yogurt for dinner.

Thursday — Bombay Masala Sandwich with fries, then Pesto Chicken or Roast Vegetable Focaccia Sandwich.

Friday — BBQ Chicken or Peppey Paneer Focaccia Pizza for lunch, and Rice with Sambar & Beans Poriyal to close the week.

No service Monday & Tuesday. Kitchen open Wednesday to Friday, lunch and dinner.

Some evenings just need good wine and better bites. 🍷

Today we put together a wine and cocktail bites spread small plates built to be picked up mid-conversation, poured alongside something in your other hand.

This is the kind of catering we love most.

Not a formal sit-down, just good food doing its job quietly in the background while the room does its own thing.

Tiffin n KAAPI — every 4th Sunday ☕

South Indian tiffins and filter KAAPI at Proppa South, Coburg North. Cooked with my good friends Suraj and Sakthi, a different tiffin every month, always with a kaapi in hand.

First up: The Idli Series. Soft pillowy mini idlis dunked in hot sambar and or with ghee podi (gunpowder), served with a filter KAAPI.

📅 Sunday 30 Aug · 12:30–3:30pm
📍 Proppa South, Coburg North
🎟️ $20 — a single serve of food + filter KAAPI / kattan KAAPI
🍫 $3 hot choc / milk for the kids

Also on the day: the RAD Friends of KAAPI corner, with extra specials (my Butter Cake included) and other goodies.

This week's dabba is up. 🍱

Tuesday — Chicken / Mushroom Stroganoff with butter-garlic rice for lunch, Homestyle Rajma Chawal with boondi raita and papad for dinner.

Wednesday — Garlic Rasam with rice and aloo fry for lunch, Pesto Chicken / Pesto Veg Wrap for dinner.

Friday — Navartana Pulav with aloo matar and papad for lunch, Sambar Bath with raita for dinner.

No service Monday and Thursday. Everything cooked fresh on the day and delivered hot across Melbourne.

Every seat had a name tonight. 🕯️

That's the part of Virundhu I love most before anyone walks in, the table already knows who's coming.

Candles lit, menus printed, place cards out, and then the room slowly fills with people who came in as strangers and left like they'd known each other for years.

Tonight was our Parsi edition, a menu close to my heart, cooked the way it deserves to be.

This is what a full house and a full table looks like to me.
