Frodo is loving one of the latest underbust corsets we have been working on. Though we don’t agree with him choosing to use it as a bed less than 2 seconds after we put it down, for “just a moment” mind you, whilst we were fetching the rest of its lace pieces.

The day after the epicness that was the M.A.D. Insights Mini Showcase, we were taken to the for a surprise congratulatory high afternoon tea and belated birthday treat.

It was a lovely afternoon created by the wonderful staff and a great way to wind down after the Showcase.  With the amazing food and exemplary service we felt thoroughly spoilt and so special because of it ~

We want to give a big thank you to all our lovely helpers from the MAD 'Insights' mini showcase, as they were the people who helped make us taking part in the show possible.

All the hard work and support that was so generously provided during the lead up to it, as well a behind the scenes on the day, was, and still is, greatly appreciated.

We would also like to thank Carly and her team at the Melbourne Alternative Designers for all their efforts in putting on the MAD 'Insights' mini showcase.

It was an exhausting, challenging, and whilst not everything went according to plan, everyone's hard work and support made sure that we were able to go ahead, making it a resounding success.

Hello everyone,

Just an update on what is happening with the M.A.D. Fashion Showcase, for those of you who haven't already seen.

Unfortunately, due to ongoing COVID concerns, MAD 2021 has been postponed, with the new date set for February 19th, 2022.

And while we are quite sad about the postponement of the grand M.A.D. Fashion Showcase, peoples health and safety is paramount, so we are very much looking forward to the epic event that will happen in a safe environment next year, on Saturday February 19th 2022, and being able to see all your lovely faces.

However!

The M.A.D. organisers are finding ways to share some of our work with you regardless. Since we can’t exhibit our creations in front of a large live audience, there will be a media event on Saturday February 20th, called M.A.D. Insights. This event is *not* open to the public for covid safety and restriction reasons, but you can look forward to seeing online video footage and photos of some of the outfits that were created for the planned M.A.D. Fashion Showcase 2021.
