💜 Understanding the WHY Behind Behaviour!

I'm incredibly excited to be presenting at the My Spirited Mind NSW ADHD Conference on Sunday, 18 October 2026!

As a Developmental Educator, Behavioural Therapist and founder of Better Multisensory Learning, I am passionate about helping parents, educators and therapists understand that behaviour is a form of communication, and there is often so much more happening beneath the surface.

My Presentation: Understanding and Supporting Neurodivergent Children in Every Environment

I'll be sharing practical, real-world strategies to help parents, educators and therapists. My goal is for everyone attending to walk away with practical strategies they can start using immediately, whether at home, in the classroom or during therapy sessions because when we understand the WHY behind behaviour, we can change HOW we respond.

Meet Liz Sturt from A Gifted View Photography! 📸

Liz is a professional photographer, a late-diagnosed ADHDer, a mum of three ADHD boys, AND a teacher supporting neurodivergent students in Rotorua. Talk about wearing many hats!

And here's the sweetest part… Liz actually reached out to us first! 💌

She wanted to lend a hand and contribute to our conference by sharing her photography skills in exchange for joining us on the day. And honestly, we're SO glad she did!

A HUGE (and slightly overdue 🤭) thank you, Liz!

This is something we absolutely LOVE about our Spirited community. 💛 Everyone has something different to bring to the table, and sometimes the loveliest things start with a simple "Hey, I'd love to help!"

💗 NSW, give a big welcome to our host, Heidi Lindgren ADHD Coach ! 👋✨

Heidi will be the one guiding us through the day, keeping things flowing, introducing our speakers and helping bring all those conversations together.

Heidi brings a pretty unique mix to the room. She’s an ADHD coach, special education teacher, ADHD woman, parent of an ADHD child, and has more than 30 years of classroom experience behind her.

She also holds a Master of Special and Inclusive Education, and works with ADHD adults, young people and parents navigating school systems.

So yes… she knows the research.
And she knows the lived experience too. 💛

Her approach is evidence-informed, practical and very real, which feels like the perfect fit for a day that’s all about honest conversations, useful takeaways and a community that gets it.

We’re so excited to have Heidi holding the room for our NSW community on 18 October 🫶
