Last hitch incoming for 2023!

It's been a great year with great people. I haven't kept count of the amount of weddings Ive officiated this season, I've focused on family / work balance instead.
Some weeks I nailed it, some weeks I didn't; but I'm pretty stoked with my evolution as a business owner and a writer.
Plus, I've met and married the most beautiful people.

An outfit change and larger venue for kick ons, dreamy factor still at ten million

Isabel and Byron fell in love on either side of various coffee machines around Melbourne.
Byron, a pro barista; tall and brooding and beautiful, caught Isabel's eye the second she walked into Degraves Espresso.
She regularly caffeinated herself between classes while attending art school and Byron loved every brief, unforgettable interaction.

Isabel and Byron ✨️ Part One

In the heart of the CBD, these two found a super romantic, kinda gothic, kinda old timey cocktail bar.
Staff at .cottage served drinks as Isabel and Byron greeted their guests together.
We all swooned over the vintage lace gown Isabel thrifted and the vast collection of records displayed around the bar.

At ceremony time I gathered everyone outside on the lawn and got them ready to celebrate.
Isabel and Byron walked out together and took their place under the tallest tree to say their vows.
They both were perfect. I loved every second.

Life update ✨️

We are incredibly privileged to be expecting our second babe.


Hayden and I know how lucky we are. And we also want to thank those 2024 couples that took my cancellation for their weddings so graciously and filled our happy little hearts with their well wishes

So, I'll be taking a couple months off after Feb but if you're getting married in 2024 and haven't yet heard from me, rest assured I'll be at your ceremony.

For anyone whose path to parenthood hasn't been easy, I know seeing news like this can be triggering.

This ceremony began with a throwback to 2012, where in the sprawling realm of the internet blogs thrived, ideas intermingled, and a virtual platform called Tumblr allowed creatives to adorn their screens with vivid stories and a kaleidoscope of thoughts.

Jack and Hemlock fell in love through their online world and became inseperable when they finally met in person.

11 years in the making and they tied the knot in an utterly gorgeous, Shakespearean wedding last Friday
