CONGRATS VICTORIA WE HAVE REACH A BIG MILESTONE WITH BEING SO CLOSE 90% VACCINATED.

WHICH MEANS THAT THE PARTY IS BACK ON.

So what does this mean for you, your wedding and other celebrations?

Weddings- can be held without capacity limits as long as everyone in attendance is fully vaccinated.

Group gatherings-no limits of the number of people who can gather in a home or in public places

Dance Floors-will reopen, and patrons will be allowed to drink at the bar at pubs and clubs.

With all this exciting news there is no need to stress about you planning or where you are at on your wedding journey. Just remember to keep smiling, dancing and most importantly having fun.

As a small business owner I get told a lot that my business name is memorable and sounds happy.

When I hear this I smile because that is exactly what I wanted the business name to do and more importantly bring a smile to peoples’ faces.

When I was thinking of a name for the business I knew it had to be memorable, bring a smile to peoples’ faces and state what I do within the business. While also bringing part of my personality into the name and a connection to my why. So when it came to brainstorming names I thought about everything that was related to myself, planning parties and the feelings that I got and wanted my clients to have when attending an event planned myself.

Share the Joy Events is about enjoying life, celebrating with family, friends, food & drink in times that are good or when life just needs a little be of colour and happiness. This is achieved by making sure that gatherings are filled with the sound of chatter, laughter, clinking of glasses and music, leaving everyone with a smile on their faces.

Celebrating Life in all its glory as it should be.


Share the Joys Events means having memorable events without all the stress and hassle. Share the Joy Events is about creating unique events that are what the client has envisioned because it is about celebrating what makes them unique like no one else.

Share the Joy Events reassure our clients that we will take care of all the details for them, meaning that they can relax and enjoy a good time.

Hello and Welcome to the Party

I'm Maryanne, the creative mind & face behind “Share the Joy Events” (SJE), specialising in intimate events and gatherings.

From an early age, I developed an interest in planning birthday parties for younger cousins and dinner parties for family and friends.
As a result, my love of events grew. I have to admit that am the first one to put my hand up to organise the events/gatherings.

I am always planning the next party, from the decorations to the menu and everything in between. If you need to find me I am usually on line playing around on Pinterest, making boards for children and adults’ birthdays or just for my next dinner party.

They say that people spend close to 2 hours a day thinking of food. For me that is the amount of time I spend thinking about events.

If you’re intrigued & to hear more, here are five things you might want to know about me.

1. Cheese! Cheese! ….. and more Cheese! Anything that has cheese in it makes life just that little bit better.

Apart from Weddings coming back and Melbourne coming out of lockdown this is the next most exciting thing to happen this week.

Kourtney Kardashian getting engaged to Travis Barker is going to be one of the stylist weddings of the year when ever it happens.

Love the ring and how Travis proposed to Kourtney.

Wishing them all the best in this exciting chapter of their relationship.

I'll be keeping on eye on the mail for my invite 💌

With not long to go until we are able to start celebrating weddings again, it a good time to review what will be allowed.

In Regional Victoria
🌹weddings are allowed for 30 fully vaccinated people indoors and 100 fully vaccinated outdoors.

Metro Melbourne and regional Victoria come together under the same rules.

🌹150 fully vaccinated people indoors, and 500 outdoors.

If you are having your wedding during the cooler months you may like to serve your guest something hearty and makes them feeling like they are being hugged from sideout.

Wonderful tip to consider when it comes to your menu. Speak with the chef or caterer about using a recipe that has mean for you & your fiance. Maybe it's your grandma's spag bol or Pa's beef casserole.💜💜💜

Having iit on the menu will personalise your day with somwthing extra special.
