Locals threw rice into the water to distract fish from his body, a tradition that evolved into this beloved, leaf-wrapped treat eaten to symbolize remembrance.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Family and Heritage: Making and eating zongzi represents unity. The intricate folding, wrapping, and tying process is a shared family activity, and the dumplings are frequently exchanged as gifts between relatives and friends❤️
