New menu at ONLYS this week. In the AM, we have an egg sando, reuban sando on Akimbo country loaf, a broccoli, ricotta, chilli and lemon on akimbo foccacia.

Then from 4pm, we have housemade foccacia with whipped butter, steak tartare, whipped ricotta with figs, and for the change of season - pasta al forno. Plus your usual favourites like the schnitzel!

We really love our new HQ. Not too small (HQ1), not soooo big (HQ2). It’s just right. And it’s now ready for your end of year events, hens parties, engagements, intimate weddings and everything in between. We will continue to prepare food here for offsite events, and will continue until 18th August. We will then take a little break, and reopen in late September. In Spring. Because ONLY_S. We have some big ideas for this little pop up. So stay tuned. And in the meantime. See you next Saturday at 8am xoxo

We are really enjoying our pop up cafe and are so grateful for support from locals and lots of familiar faces from the last 12 years of firecracker!

So much so, that we have extended the pop up for another 4 weeks! Last weekend is the 18th August!

Serving up , .bread treats and sweets every Saturday and Sunday from 8am-2pm at 58a Victoria road, northcote.

The fire is lit every weekend and we have all the heaters cranked so get out of the cold into our cosy space xoxo

To relaunch Firecracker and show off our new HQ, we are opening a pop up cafe! It’s called and we are serving simple food on Saturday and Sunday from 8am till 2pm. Starting this Saturday 22nd June, we will have a cabinet full of treats including sandwiches with .bread and sweets from along with soup, snack plates, sausage rolls and schnitzels. We have you sorted for beverages with . Hope to see you there!

We will be serving simple food such as soup, sandwiches, schnitzels, sausage rolls and sweets on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-2pm (six hours) at our new HQ at 58a Victoria road, Northcote starting on Saturday 22nd June.

BIG NEWS: PART TWO

Firecracker Event has new headquarters.

This is the third location for Firecracker Event so we’ve nicknamed it FC3. It’s quite the homecoming; in Northcote and right between our first and second premises. Feels like it’s meant to be! 

We are in the process of giving FC3 a zhuzh before opening in early June. More details about that soon. In the meantime, here is a sneak peek where has been working her magic.

BIG NEWS - PART ONE.

I’m coming home to Firecracker.

After two glorious and huge years building the events department at , I am stepping back into my food and event business, Firecracker, full time.

I’m beyond excited to bring fresh energy into Firecracker, and to collaborate, curate and to express my creativity through events.

Relaunch date is 1st June. We are available for event production, platter pick ups, private parties and pop ups. Get in touch.

BIG NEWS!

Earlier this year we started the process of transferring the lease and selling the interior of our HQ. There was an extraordinary amount of interest in our space and finding the right match took time. Especially so in the context of a global pandemic.

I am feeling all the feelings because a beautiful and aligned company are taking over and it's time to say goodbye to FC HQ2, our head and heart-quarters.

I’m so proud of what we achieved here, how we transformed this space with the help of and our incredible team. And I’m grateful for all the beautiful moments and memories here.

Don’t freak out. Firecracker lives on and we’ll continue to create food and events for you with all our love.

I’m so excited for the next chapter of Firecracker which will include a city kitchen and we are looking for a HQ in the country where we can host events, grow some food, express creatively, collaborate, be playful and make a home.

We feel ready for the next chapter. So stay tuned!
