Having known Margaret for many many years, it was an honour to be the celebrant for her farewell. Her family did an amazing job of capturing her love of life and family across the generations. The Clinker Game, Lolly bags and dancing the Nutbush were just some of the ways her personality was honoured in the Service. Rest in Peace now Marg together once more with your husband Andy.
And Thanks Steve and family for these kind words....

Hello Margaret,
Just wanted to send a final thank you for your management of the celebration of Mum’s life with us all. Your genuine connection with Mum and Dad made it all that more special and if Mum could have, she would have been overwhelmed but would have enjoyed it immensely.
You played a big part in that for which we thank you.
Kindest Regards
Steve & Family

A TIGERS MAN All OF HIS LIFE
So good Barry and several of his family were at the G to see The Tigers take out the premiership in 2018. And so how fitting that they farewelled him in the yellow and black and sent him to that great Big Tigerland in the sky in his Tigers Premiership coffin.
Rest in peace Barry.

Loss can be even louder during the holiday months and change the lens through which you see and feel everything:

Twinkling lights seem as though they’ve dimmed somehow. The sparkle has dulled. The music has quieted. The joy, hope, and magic of the season feels out of reach.

Grief doesn’t take a holiday. I hope that however it presents itself for you this week, that you’re able to sit with it and feel it. That you’re able to take a step back from the things you need to or bravely take a step forward toward the things your heart is ready for.

It’s okay if traditions look different as your heart catches its breath. It’s okay if you are welcoming back old traditions you’ve taken a break from. It’s okay if you’re bravely adding new ones.

There’s no rule-book here, but there is a ton of grace. This holiday can look however you need it to.

And I pray that, like a gentle and unexpected friend, you still see places where hope glimmers. I hope you see reminders of your loved one sprinkled everywhere throughout this season.

And if joy or peace comes to meet you amidst the grief and pain, I hope you open your heart to the tension of feeling those things too. 🙏🏻

~ A Good Heart these days is hard to find ~ …. what a perfect song to begin this celebration of Robyn’s life …. a lady who did indeed have a good heart…. a generous heart … a heart that reached out to others. And what a beautiful venue in which to farewell one who loved her gardens with a passion.
