I endeavour to prepare ceremonies that are meaningful and creative. Deborah McKenzie is an Authorised Celebrant who feels very comfortable speaking before large audiences or more intimate gatherings. She has spent her career delivering lessons, lectures, keynote speeches and conducting training sessions in a multitude of forums. But...your wedding is not all about Deb. It is about YOU! Yesterday I conducted the marriage ceremony for Darcy & Brendan at the Acacia Ridge Vineyard Yarra Valley. It exuded elegance, class, rituals, lots of laughs & great group participation. There was something really powerful about the Renewal of Vows ceremony I conducted for Jess & Jack yesterday. Standing in front of an incredible tree, dated back some 700 years with three majestic Owls, unphased, watching over the proceedings. Rocklea Farm did not disappoint. There was much laughter & some gorgeous touches to the ceremony. I had the pleasure of marrying J & J in April 2021 & now their family & friends got to partake. Such a joy.

The conference comes to a close and I met & made some incredible new connections with amazing Celebrants. Adelaide certainly turned on the charm & provided us with Illuminum, wonderful light displays at various places around the city. I learnt much & hopefully developed myself further in this field.

Well - look who I got to chat with. Li’s story is completely inspirational. You may know him as the writer of Mao’s Last Dancer. He was keynote yesterday & what an incredible story teller. The art of story & inspiration, alongside diversity & inclusion are the themes for this conference. Lots of learning celebrant networking.
