What this year has brought…
✔️ beautiful connections with a wide variety of people
✔️ extra special celebrations at new locations
✔️ continued friendships with like minded vendors
✔️ immersion and focus in the funeral space with over 65 memorable services conducted for lovely families
✔️ working alongside my niece - pretty amazing!!
✔️ further created special friendships with people I have been involved with for their wedding
✔️ celebrated 10 years as a celebrant
✔️ 750 weddings milestone
✔️ 2025 saw over 90 couples married by me

I am in awe of what this celebrant career has brought me.
I say it each year, but I am so incredibly thankful for the beautiful couples and families that ask me to be part of memorable times in their lives. It is not lost on me the importance of these moments.

Thank you to past couples for the continual love and referrals, thank you to family and friends for the support and mention of my name wherever possible… it all means so much.
Thank you to my beautiful crew of vendors who get me, support me and celebrate with me.

I get asked regularly what sort of ceremony do I prefer and how do I deliver it.
I also think it’s important for couple’s to know what service they will receive if I am their celebrant.
I have hundreds of Google reviews (thank you everyone!) and I know it is time consuming scrolling through them.
So I jumped on the bandwagon and asked Chat GPT to summarise my reviews.
Whether you are a lover, a hater or on the fence with Chat GPT, the purpose of this exercise was curiosity!

~ Professional, calm and lighthearted ~

These are 3 words a lot of my couples use to describe me as a celebrant.
I am pretty happy with that!!

I strive to provide a professional approach-organised, attention to detail and I give you the little nuggets I have learnt along my journey.

I bring the calm to your day that you might not have realised you needed. The lead up to the big day can bring its stressors but I will always reassure you and guide you along the path to wedded bliss!!

We all need a little giggle, belly laugh, sentimental tear or a chuckle from time to time. I am no comedian so it won’t be a stand up show nor will it be cliche or cringe. Just genuine, wholesome goodness.

~ 9 years and loving it ~

Today is the day I celebrate Abbie Frew Celebrant…
9 years have flown by but it certainly hasn’t come easy. There have been ups and downs, twists and turns - it is safe to say running my own business has tested me in all the right ways.

I am extremely thankful to the 640+ couples and numerous families I have guided and supported through the happy times and the heartache.

I wouldn’t be where I am without the love and support of the amazing wedding industry crew, past and present couples and families, my celebrant besties and my beautiful family and friends. It really does take a village!!

In Sydney for a night and a perfect way to celebrate my journey with my biggest cheerleader!

~ Me ~

The head tilt is my way of enjoying the moment!!
I always get asked what is my favourite venue or favourite moment in the ceremony… I can’t pick one. I just know my favourite part of my role is the feeling.

The feeling I get when:
~ a couple books me
~ I get to hug the couple for the first time.
~ I receive their questionnaires
~ their vows slip into my inbox
~ we have phone call chats
~ I do their official documents
~ I create their personal ceremony
~ I see their excitement in their eyes
~ I notice the emotion sweep across their face
~ we have fun in the ceremony
~ family and friends embrace the moment
~ we celebrate the most important apart of the ceremony 💋
~ post ceremony vibes are flowing
~ I scroll through all the magnificent photos and videos
~ I know I have given everything to them and they ultimately are married ❤️

Thanks for capturing me in my element for Sam and Charlie - my 600th couple to be married. What a ride and what a privilege.

~ waiting ~

Some people find the love of their love very early in their journey of life, others wait for what feels like an eternity.

Here is Arron waiting for his gorgeous wife to be, Daniella to arrive at the first look.

This moment and all the moments of their day were something else.

Heartfelt, fun, cup filling, warmth, genuine love and affection, admiration, adoration, laughter, respect, happiness… all of it was felt just in the ceremony. I can only imagine how amazing the reception was.
