We started Little Yarra Crêperie with a simple idea. Good food should feel effortless, thoughtful and made to be shared.

From slow mornings in our café to lively events across Melbourne, we focus on creating moments that bring people together. Every crêpe, every detail and every service is shaped by care, quality and a love for what we do.

No cooking. No dishes. Just a delicious homemade meal ready to collect and enjoy on a Friday night.

This Friday we're serving two beloved French bistro classics.

🥘 Saucisses aux lentilles du Puy

Pork sausages braised with Puy lentils, onions, carrots and herbs, served with fresh bread. Hearty, rustic and full of flavour. Gluten-free (aside from the bread which is served separately).

And for dessert...

🍋 Tarte au citron

A classic French lemon tart with crisp buttery pastry and a bright, silky lemon filling. Contains gluten.

This Friday we're serving a North African favourite beloved throughout France.

🍋 Poulet tagine et couscous

Tender free-range chicken slow-cooked with chickpeas, apricots, warming spices and preserved lemon, served on fluffy couscous with toasted almonds. Fragrant, comforting and full of flavour.

And for dessert...

🍊 Crêpes Suzette

Delicate crêpes served with a buttery orange sauce and a touch of Grand Marnier. A timeless French classic.

We’re taking a little pause this week because we’re flat out preparing for our Autumn Glow Soirée tomorrow night, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for an evening of French-inspired food, wine, candlelight and good company.

The good news? There are still a few seats available for the 6pm Soirée sitting, but they won’t last long. Head to the link in bio to find the full menu, all the event details and booking link. Saving Little Yarra Crêperie update #11

My primary motivation is creating and sharing good food, not making money. It's why I'm trying so hard to keep our Thornbury warehouse cafe open, as it's here where I can experiment and have an outlet for my passion for food. If it was only about the money I would just sell simple sweet crêpes from a food truck, which is much more profitable.

As the cost of doing business in this industry continues to increase, while people's discretionary income goes down, this is looking more and more likely. If you like what we do and want us to continue here we need your support. Tell your friends about us, leave a review, buy a gift voucher, book a table.

And if you don't have plans already, get along to our Autumn Glow Soiree next Saturday 30 May. The menu is incredible, and excellent value for money. Bookings essential. All the details in the link in bio.
