For HIS VERY FIRST TIME IN AUSTRALIA!

LATEEF LOVEJOY WILL debut at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2025 at the iconic .melbourne

Multi-Award nominee Lateef Lovejoy tremendous comedic talent and is one of the most unique and distinctive acts on the comedy circuit, and vastly gaining the reputation of becoming a force to to reckoned with, both on the Black, Mainstream, and International comedy circuits.

He has recently made  International  Stand-up debuts in Belgium,  Nigeria, Jersey,  Sweden, Norway, Holland, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa  as well as taking New York by storm when he performed at the legendary  Comic Strip, Times Square Comedy Club, and The Comedy Celler in Greenwich Village, and has also played the World Famous Comedy Store in LA in addition to the Improv and Laugh Factory comedy clubs.

Shortly after his debut at Edinburgh Fringe, received the GOLDEN BUZZER on Australia’s Got Talent 2022 and went all the way to the finals.

His tour in Canada included a sold out run at the Toronto Fringe, where he earned the Patron’s Pick.

His show canvases his life story, where he delves into his experiences of culture clashes, recounting his journey of adapting from a refugee camp in East Africa to immigrating to Australia. From humble beginnings, he now spends his days sharing his story with audiences worldwide.

We did something great last night in Melbourne, a comedy show executed so well by our talented International comedian Akau Jambo, who traveled all the way from his homeland South Sudan to make us all laugh. There was talent, culture and a sense of community.

It takes a long time to build such an experience and I’m hoping you can all help spread the word by sharing this reel and tagging J&E Events.
