Happy Independence Day my beloved El Salvador! 🇸🇻💙
It has been such an incredible experience to be a part of Atlactl Dance Group , learning and performing to showcase a small part of what my country & culture is all about !
Living in Australia most of my life, away from the place where I was born, I can only speak of the wonders of my pulgarcito!
We may have the smallest country in Central America, yet it is one of the most vibrant! Known as La Tierra de Volcanes (the Land of Volcanoes), it's home to over 20 volcanoes, some still active, shaping the landscape and culture ⛰️
It has five archaeological parks, with Joya de Cerén, often called the Pompeii of the Americas, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, preserving everyday life of the Maya people 🛖
🦜 The national bird, the Torogoz, symbolizes freedom and family, and its vibrant colors reflect my country’s natural beauty. There are stunning coastlines – Playa El Tunco is world-famous for surfing and sunsets that attract travelers from across the globe.🏄♂️
My country produces world-renowned coffee, cherished for its rich flavor and aroma, a true pride of Salvadorean tradition ☕️
Beyond its natural wonders, is defined by its proud, hardworking people who carry the love of their homeland wherever they go 🙌🏼
