Influenced by the sounds of Hip Hop and the surrounding sub-genres Naarm/Melbourne based artist .piracy for hire uses his platform to introduce the sounds he has found to captivate his listeners at hand.With his sets usually consisting of genres such as Electro/Breakbeat and Latin based genres like Baile and Guaracha, .piracy for hire is not bound to one genre he is instead bound to a feeling which he conveys through his bass oriented track selection.
Inspired by the ‘Roland TR-808’ .piracy aims to release his music soon and convey this same feeling through his own self productions. .piracy for hire has also worked with international artists such as ‘Thelma’ in his community ‘Keep It Locked.’ and aims to get the community up back and running in the near future.
Gracing iconic venues such as ‘The Howler’ supporting local artists ‘Prizefight’ and ‘Osmosis Jones’ while also playing at other small venues and raves, .piracy for hire looks to further push his sound this year and breakthrough into the event scene in Naarm/Melbourne, and start to play on a frequent basis to build connections with like minded people within the industry and further pursue his career as an artist.
