ISU TAKI is partnering with Felons Barrel Hall to bring you GhettoKumbé 🇨🇴 first ever show in Brisbane.

For more than a decade, Ghetto Kumbé has led the vanguard of sound experimentation, mixing in a unique way the indigenous and African music that converse between instruments, voices and visual elements with electronic beats. Their music is a unique blend of traditional west African rhythms and afro-colombian rhythms. Infusing powerful beats and bass to this already explosive combination, all presented with a visually rich show with masks and neon lights.
This event will be part of the Cardones tour, their brand new album released in May 2026 featuring collaborations with recognized artist like Lido Pimienta, Nidia Gongora, Busy Twist and Henry Pimienta Pushania.
In support duties José Pincheira, Chilean producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer & artist living in Brisbane whose ambient trip-hop folk celebrates his culture, diverse musical influence and the natural world with expertly crafted downtempo electronica.
𝐜𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨 DJ and cultural promoter from Colombia. his dynamic sets resonate across diverse dancefloors, from intimate settings to peak-time club environments. His approach balances musicality with impact, delivering engaging, fluid journeys that connect deeply with audiences while maintaining a strong, dancefloor-driven edge.
Otorongo Curinahuel, music selector originally from Chile, currently based in Meanjin (Brisbane). His sets are meticulously curated to take audiences on a journey. Some times it might be a pleasant walk through mountain rainforest, tropical floodplains, or wherever your imagination feels the most
comfortable.
