MUDITA - A sanskrit word meaning joy in the happiness of others, reflects the core inspiration behind Sage’s alias and is the very essence embedded within every set.
Sage is a Melbourne-based DJ and emerging producer who has been quietly building a presence across Australia’s east coast over recent years.
Her prominent sound blends Techno and Progressive Psytrance, moving between deeper, melodic and meditative spaces and driving, hypnotic energy. She often draws from labels like Universal Tribe Records, Zenon and Stone Seed.
She also plays Drum and Bass, Breaks, Afro and Organic house, Minimal Tech and Deep Dub.
With a focus on groove, flow and atmosphere, Mudita digs deep for unique rhythms and underground artists. She approaches each set with intention, shaping the journey carefully and often creates her own edits so tracks blend in a way that feels personal, creative and unique.
Over the past few years, she’s been carefully shaping what distinguishes her as an artist, while appreciating the intrigue and elusiveness that comes from keeping her sets off the internet.
