Yep, my books are closed… but when Josh reached out a few months ago and asked if I’d marry him and his heart school sweetheart, it was a massive - YES! I’ll make this work!

I had the honour of marrying his Mum and Dad, and his sister back in 2016.

And today, it was Josh’s turn!

Congratulations Josh and Megan! ❤️❤️ What an honour to share such beautiful, magical moments with you and your wonderful family. I’m so blessed xx

With my books closed, I’m not doing too much celebrant-ing these days… but when I do, I remember how blessed I am that people trust me to hold space for them and create beautiful memories.

Last Saturday’s Baby Naming for 2 little loves right here in Medowie was just so lovely. Little Hazel missed out on having a special day when she was a bubba (thanks Covid craziness)… and now that her brother Oliver is here, it was time to celebrate.

Hazel stole the show by waving each time I said her name, and getting everyone’s attention with the microphone to kick off the ceremony. Oliver showed a wisdom beyond his years as he stared at me with such intention and understanding as I was talking about all the hopes and wishes his village has for him and his sister.

Their parents read the most beautiful promises, as did godparents and grandparents… all while kids bounced on the jumping castle (and Hazel started playing soccer at one point - but still popped her little arm in the air each time she heard me speak her name!)

NEWS // My wise mum says, “Everything is point in time…”

After 11 years, 3 babies and 7 hundred and something ceremonies, I’m hanging up my Spell dresses for my corporate suits.

I’ve closed and opened my books a lot over the years, but this time is different. My kiddos are getting older and family time on weekends is more important than ever. Between cheer comps, soccer games, theatre shows and family events, I’m embracing this finite time to make precious memories with my fam. To do this, I need to pivot my weekend availability.

All current bookings will be honoured (with so much love and gratitude!) but I won’t be taking any new ones from today.

I’ll still keep my celebrant registration to marry family and friends but will refer any new enquiries to my awesome celebrant network (Sassy Celebrants and Michelle Faithfull - Civil Celebrant)

Thank you to every single one of you who have been part of my celebrant journey over the past 11 years.

I’m so proud and grateful for this amazing journey, and I’m excited to be focussing on my new corporate gig as a Senior Consultant in project and commercial management ( )

Here’s to “Workin’ 9 to 5!” and lots of Mum-Uber on weekends! 🙏
