Hot take (but actually not that controversial):

You don’t need a colour palette, a seating chart, or a signature cocktail to start planning your wedding. 😏
What you do need?

👉 A DATE
👉 A VENUE

Or at least one of them locked in.

Because here’s the tea ☕️
Until you’ve got a date and/or venue secured, every other vendor is basically going to say:
“Sounds cute… but when though?”

Photographers, celebrants, florists, DJs — we all book based on availability. No date = no way to check. No venue = no clear vibe, size, or logistics.

So before you slide into inboxes asking for quotes, do yourself (and your future sanity) a favour:
📍 Lock in your when
📍 Lock in your where

Then? Go wild. Enquire. Book. Build your dream team.
Step one isn’t Pinterest boards, babe.
It’s calendar + location. 💅
